Close to restaurant whose owner helped us navigate the property.

We thought we booked 2 separate bedrooms. The owner, through booking.com agreed to include the studio next door with a connecting door option to make things right. Upon arrival the owner/chef of the restaurant informed us that they are in charge of the 2nd studio and it was booked. He was kind to guide us to our room in the dark. So we made do as it was late. The 1 BR was nice but the 2nd person had a cheap pullout sofa bed in the LR and had to go through the BR to use the bathroom. We are disappointed by the arrangements, whether intentional or not, the communication about the property and who was in charge of what, was disappointing.

Got their late because of flight delays, No food available in aera. Not many taxi available. Till next day for car rental!

Nice location in the suburb of one of the larger villages of isle of Flores. This property is a part of a duplex house with a common terrace and with a view over the hillside and the sea. There are 2 covered parking spots that are dedicated to this duplex. While we were staying we didn't have neighbours, so we had full privacy. We got the keys via the key box, so we only met our host later during our stay (albeit she was always reachable via WhatsApp). She was very nice and friendly, and offered us a later check-out, as our flight was pushed a little later into the day. The house was rather large, with a separate kitchen, dining room and bedroom with ensuite bathroom. The bathroom was clean and perfectly functioning (keep in mind to bring your own shampoo and shower gel), the bedroom had a fan (which was handy to keep cool at night) and the bed was good. The kitchen was very well equipped with olive oil, spices, tea and coffee, dish wash gel and every piece of utensil necessary for an extended stay. Overall, we are satisfied with our choice of Casas das Flores for our stay in Flores. On the grounds behind the property there is a German-run restaurant, which does serve decent food (albeit NOT a traditional Azorean/Portuguese fair) - book it in advance.

WiFi was rather intermittent and only worked in the dining room. Parking requires driving down a steep slope, which could be challenging for an inexperienced driver.

La terraza y el jardín. Ambiente tranquilo, sin ruidos.

Oferta engañosa pues las fotos muestran y el anuncio oferta el apartamento entero con dos camas, y cocina completa y a posteriori solo está disponible medio apartamento y la cocina no tenía pica para lavar los platos y tuvimos que lavarlos en dos palanganas en la barbacoa de la terraza. Respecto al equipamiento de cocina muy básico respecto el apartamento de al lado tambien visible en el anuncio de booking.

El colchón y las almohadas y el wifi solo tenías conexión en la sala principal. No llegaba a la habitación

Nous ne pouvons pas indiquer de point positif sur ce logement. En effet, l’annonce de Booking indiquait un appartement avec terrasse, deux chambres et deux salons ainsi qu’une kitchenette. Logement qui nous semblait ainsi parfaitement adapté pour une famille de 4 avec des enfants en bas âge. Au lieu de cela, nous trouvons : 1 chambre (qu’il faut traverser pour aller à la salle de bain) et 1 salon avec un canapé lit peu confortable. Pas de kitchenette (une plaque de cuisson et une bouilloire posées sur un meuble dans le salon) donc pas d’évier … il faut aller dehors pour aller chercher de l’eau et faire la vaisselle. La terrasse est partagée avec un autre logement. Et ce sont en fait 3 locations et autant de familles qui cohabitent. Nous avons tenter d’obtenir un geste commercial sans que jamais une solution de relogement ou un remboursement partiel ne soit accordé par la propriétaire. Honteux.

Las vistas, el jardín que tiene la casa y la cocina que estaba muy bien equipada.

Los colchones necesitan una renovación urgente. Si estas varios días el dolor de espalda esta asegurado. La wifi es muy floja solo llega al comedor.
