The Nook at West Langton lodge

Warm, clean cosy cottage in a great location for Market Harborough and Foxton locks.

Space inside and out was great as a couple with a dog. The owners were really friendly and accommodating!

Interesting historic building with original features. Very comfortable stay. The hosts are fabulously friendly and helpful, and couldn’t do enough for us. 2 paddocks to exercise the dog.

Perfect location for a short stay. Cute, hot water and good heating for a very cold weekend. Very comfy bed. Would stay again. Lovely hosts.

A few cobwebs. The aroma of horse manure was a little aromatic but the hosts explained it was due to exceptional circumstances and it didn't bother us as fresheners were provided.

Overall, lovely accommodation in a peaceful location. Close to Market Harborough for facilities etc. Good Pubs in Langton Villages -nearby. Has everything you need for self catering. Good lounge, Bedroom and Kitchen area.

Only issue was the Toilet area in Bathroom, which is cramped-even as a slim person I found this awkward. I would politely suggest that this needs some attention/refurbishment.

it was just what we wanted for our weekend, was like home from home, it was in a great location for our trip. great communication with the hosts, would stay there again if we were in the area again.

A converted stable in a working stud farm raising horses! On a quiet road surrounded by nature! Watching two young foals dance about! Netting Dave the dog and amazing wee guy!! Talking history with Lindsay and Ken!

Having to leave to go to our next destination!

The location was perfect and easy to find. Very accommodating with our dog and tea/coffee and milk on our arrival which was well received after a 3 hour drive. The host was very friendly and helpful.
