Absolutely stunning place to stay. Very beautiful, very clean, perfect location and amazing host. We had a great time (and simply great breakfasts) and hope to return one day back.

Wir sind hellauf begeistert von unserer Zeit in der Unterkunft Idili! Die Lage ist einfach wundervoll – ruhig und dennoch mitten im charmanten Ort Panormos, der mit seinen kleinen Gassen und der Nähe zum Meer einfach bezaubernd ist. Besonders möchten wir uns bei Marcos und Angelika für ihre herzliche und hilfsbereite Art bedanken, die unseren Aufenthalt noch schöner gemacht hat. Gerade ihre vielen Tipps haben uns einen wundervollen Einblick von Kreta gegeben – wir konnten tolle Ecken entdecken, köstlich essen, neue Spezialitäten probieren und wunderbare Menschen kennenlernen. Auf jeden Fall kommen wir wieder und freuen uns schon sehr auf das nächste Mal!

This accommodation is absolutely unique. We travel a lot, but we have never experienced such wonderful and caring hosts. Marcos is absolutely great, striving to ensure guest satisfaction. Every day, he made sure that everything was okay. A bottle of wine awaited us upon arrival, and Marcos provided us with local delicacies throughout our stay. The apartment is beautiful, tastefully furnished, very clean, with a lovely terrace. The bedroom upstairs can get a little warm (well, during our stay it was 36°C during the day and 25°C at night 😊!), but the well-placed air conditioning cools it down nicely. The breakfasts, served in the charming garden, are absolutely amazing. Every day there is fresh bread, coffee, juice, cheese, salami, jams, honey, various egg dishes, pastry, fruit... The house is located in a very peaceful and quiet part of Panormos, a four-minute walk from the nearest beach; shops and restaurants are also within easy reach, literally two minutes away. Panormos is a peaceful place, that does not suffer from overtourism. We really loved the stay at Marcos' charming place, and if we return to Crete, we will definitely stay here again!

Idili was for us the most beautiful location we have stayed in so far in Greece (and we have been at least 50 times in the last 15 years, in almost all of Greece). My children were very happy to live at Idili. The location is very picturesque, beautifully arranged, but also very comfortable, located in a quiet area of ​​the village, but very close to the village center, with taverns, shops and everything you need. Also, the breakfast was very good, with natural Cretan products, every day. We especially appreciated the kindness of Markos and his family. They are wonderful and very welcoming people, whom we will remember fondly. I 100% recommend this location and we will definitely come back at some point. Special thanks to Markos for making us feel very good in his location!

The apartment... We were in Hyacinth... is in a beautifully restored traditional house. It is very spacious with a huge balcony overlooking the lovely garden and a side view to the sea. The furnishings are extremely comfortable, in keeping with the property and thoughtfully chosen with an eye for beauty. We had breakfast served to the table in the lovely garden. It consisted of a very generous selection of Cretan delicacies, varied every day and was a veritable feast.. Markos and all the staff, were warm, friendly, generous and attentive to all our needs, and kept the apartment spotlessly clean with regular changes of towels and bedding. The property is in a perfect location in a quiet street but only metres from the bars and tavernas at the centre of the picturesque village. The experience embodied the very best of Cretan hospitality. We couldn't recommend the property more highly and would love to return.

Our stay was simply fantastic! The breakfast truly stole the show – it was absolutely outstanding. The variety was impressive, the ingredients were fresh, and every detail was carefully thought out. It’s clear that quality and customer satisfaction are top priorities here. The attention to detail was remarkable. The staff was consistently friendly and attentive without ever being intrusive. The service was impeccable, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere throughout our stay. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience. Thank you for such an exceptional stay!

The Idilli was a home from home accommodation and we can recommend it for your holiday accommodation, Marco and Margarita treated us like family, with any requests supplied. The breakfasts were the best breakfasts with lots of choice of Magarita's great cooking . We will return there when our next Crete holiday happens . 10/10 top score.
