Areti Apartments

I love everything, the apartment have ever we needed, the owner and the cleaner lady are awesome people , the location is great with many shops, restaurants and beach just walking,

We would highly recommend both the apartment and Poros itself if you're looking for a relaxed holiday in a friendly family oriented resort. The apartment was cleaned and tidied daily with beds made, even some clothes folded! The air conditioning was much needed. Mid-stay and end-of-stay gift were a very pleasant surprise. The location is excellent, only a few minutes walk from a good selection of shops (excellent deli, bakers and grocers, as well as 3 supermarkets and several souvenir shops), a good selection of restaurants (about 12) and 2 beaches. Poros is a relaxed, family resort with a large presence of Greek holidaymakers - there are a couple of bars that stay open a little later, but there's no night clubs etc... There's a lovely Plaza separating several restaurants from the beach, busy in the evening with kids playing, people strolling etc... and a night-time popcorn/donut seller. A fantastic place to relax and watch the world go by.

Practical, convenient, clean, with all essentials

We had a lovely holiday in Kefalonia and our stay at Areti was fantastic. The apartments were very well located within easy reach of all the towns amenities such as the bakery, supermarket, deli, fruit shop, public pool, 2 beaches and plenty of cafes and restaurants. The apartments were very clean with cleaning available everyday. The host and her team were always friendly and very helpful and treated us like family rather than guests. We would not have any issues booking to stay here again.

If I had to be picky I would just say that the fist floor apartment we had just needs a bit of modernising in the kitchen area to bring it up to the same level as the ground floor apartment we had. Poros is a lovely traditional town and it was lovely not to have the hustle and bustle of lots of tourists there, the only thing its lacking is a more frequent bus service to other parts of the island.

Clean, good location, very friendly staff

We loved how peaceful the hotel was, very quiet and convenient location. bakery, supermarkets, fruit and veg shop, bars restaurants. Also a 5 minute walk from the sea.
