We were met at the property by Giovanni, the owner, who showed us around and spoke very good English, which helped, as my Italian is small. The accommodation was perfect, ideally situated a short drive from the beautiful Trabocchi coast, in a lovely rural setting. We had the use of our own small pool, which was great when sunbathing on the veranda, with the sounds of countrylife and the church bells ringing in the distance. At night, it was perfectly peaceful for a good night's sleep in a very comfy bed. Idyllic.

A kettle would have been good for making tea, and more glasses of varying sizes, with some for outdoor use, would be a nice touch.
