Lucky House

Spacious, very clean and comfortable in a very good location at the top of Skala main street. Towels and bedding changed every 3 days, bins emptied most days too. Hosts, Georgia and Lakis, are very nice people and will help with any questions. Georgia arranged taxis for us when we needed them. We were given a bottle of their homemade red wine, which was very nice and a jar of their honey on our departure day. We stayed for 4 weeks in the apartment that has the large terrace and BBQ at the rear. It had everything we needed for our extended stay.

Really a very minor issue but worth mentioning. When sitting out on the terrace, which we did a lot, there is a bit of noise from the refrigeration units at the nearby Galaxy supermarket. You do kind of zone it out but notice how quiet it is when the units go off for brief periods.

The appartment is large, cosy, clean, the terrace is cute and comfy. The owner is friendly and helpful. Location of the appartment is perfect - close to the centre and beach. Skala is nice, we would like to come back.

The bath has no courtains.

We had the very best time! The hosts Georgia and Lakis couldn't have been more helpful or welcoming, they even booked taxis for us. The apartment is ground floor and spacious, the beds comfy and has everything you need. It is quiet too. Skala is the perfect destination with everything, lots of restaurants even one that caters very well for vegans, bars/shops, beautiful surrounding countryside for walkers and of-course the fabulous beach stretching for a long, long way! Not to forget to mention the truly crystal clear water and blue flag. The name of the property is Lucky House, we were lucky to have a 2 week holiday in such a lovely place with such splendid, kind hosts.

One day the apartment might have a walk in shower which would make it safer for those that are a bit wobbly, this is not a complaint but a heads-up for prospective visitors. Also although the apartment itself has no steps, there is quite a steep set leading up to it, which would benefit from a hand rail and again this is not a complaint just a heads-up for those that struggle with mobility.

Very clean and central. Just off the main square. Close to restaurants and shops. Georgia was very hospitable and cleaned most days. Emptied rubbish. Changed towels and sheets. There's air conditioning and leaving some juice and water was a very nice touch

Spacious, clean, large shaded veranda and close to everything. Hosts were lovely.
