A Nossa Casa da Costa

Communication for directions from the owner Catarina were easy to follow to find the property. You will be directed to the backstreet where the parking is located just by the green pharmacy sign where Luisa will meet you to show you the underground parking and to your apartment. The apartment is on the 11th floor easily accessed via the lift and it is spacious having a kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and lounge (where a second bed is located). Easy access to the waterfront and beach and town. Great location. Head for the fairground where you will find a restaurant serving an excellent grill run by a family business (32 years in business) started by brothers.

I would suggest that a sofa is added in the main lounge. In terms of the beach. This is not picturesque like the Algarve but an ideal location for Portuguese holidaymakers and/or Lisbon residents who want a day or a weekend at the seaside. A sort of Clacton-on-sea for Londoners. For us it was perfect for a day birdwatching on the Tagus Estuary tour on one day and our return flight from Lisbon and car return. In terms of car hire - Do not hire from Wheego who are racketeers.

Perfect location for the beach and restaurants. Catarina was very friendly and helpful. The flat has everything you need and was exceptionally clean.

The sofabed is hard and the flat smells a bit musty.

The space is so comfortable and the hosts were really lovely, helpful and prompt.

The internet is pretty weak, be warned!

The flat is really nice and clean. There is a swimming pool and the beach is 2 min walking. You have a beautiful view to the beach from the windows. I definitely want to come back.

Wonderful location, clean apartment on the 11th floor overlooking the ocean. The pool is available from 9 am to 9 pm. The furniture is already a little old, but this does not spoil the overall impression. Сatarina is a friendly girl, she really helped me get out of an unpleasant situation. Thank you very much, Catarina! We liked Portugal!

The apartment was clean and the contact with the owner was nice. The community pool in this high rise building was a plus!

The neighbor left a note on our door the very first day complaining about our children disturbing the peace and then continued to work on spoiling our stay by making "ssshhh" noises through the door, etc. Therefore, in our opinion, the apartment is not suitable for families with small children. The sofa bed was unfortunately very uncomfortable. Bottom line: for very quiet couples only
