Everything, the concern from the staff and everything in the house was super!!

The only thing is the water pressure in the shower.

The apartment is modern, well-furnished and a very pleasant place to stay in for longer than a few days. Beaches and good restaurants are within a stone's throw. The supermarket is a bit farther away but still within range of a brisk walk.

The shower has very little pressure. Both the rain shower and the hand shower can hardly be used to thoroughly clean yourself. More importantly, make sure you check before booking this accomodation if you can make the stated check-in and check-out times. Don't expect any flexibility on the owner's part. Also, it's better to call them than to use Booking for communication since not every message seems to reach the right people.

The apartment is amazing, super comfortable, and very well-equipped.

The deposit situation is a bit confusing and I had the bad luck of having the host changing the house rules from the moment I booked to the moment of my stay, which created a mismatch in expectations between the parties. They were however responsive on the chat which was helpful. But, overall, depositing in cash is a super outdated process and the fact that they give no receipt that you paid the deposit makes it weird. I appreciate they are acting in good faith but they should have a more transparent and reassuring process.

The apartment actually cost us 50% more than advertised as the host stole 50 EUR from us. Upon check in they claimed they needed a 50 EUR deposit in cash only. They would not provide a receipt. They said after we checked out, the apartment would be checked and money transferred to a bank account. 9 days later and I'm still waiting for the money. They promised it would be this week and now they are saying next week. Nothing more than a con. Such a shame as the apartment is nice and location good, but it will cost you 50 EUR more than you expect. If you must stay here, refuse to give the deposit.

We stayed for 3 nights (2 days) and this our honest opinion about the apartment. The flat was just like the pictures, it was spacious, it had a service bathroom and a complete one next to the bedrooms. It was clean and stunning, very well decorated. Overall we were definitely impressed and happy with it. The kitchen was very complete in every way, you even had different machines depending on how you like to make your coffee which we thought it was very thoughtful. Plenty of cutlery, plates cups for different things, it was definitely very thought out. All the appliances were good and fairly clean, perfect for people that stay there for longer periods. It has a lot of storage everywhere, the rooms have a wardrobe each and there is an extra one in the hallway. Extra pillows and blankets were also available if needed in both rooms and in the hallway closet. Very good thing to have, could've had towels just to make it perfect. In the kitchen there is plenty of space for groceries and it even had a small hidden "room" for storage. For people that stay longer than the two days we did there was a washing machine and an ironing board. and cleaning supplies in case you needed them and There was also a child chair for the table for families with little ones (we didn't use but its a good thing to point out). Next to the fireplace there was a big selection of maps so you could get a bit curious and explore a bit if you wanted to. The location is a very good factor as you have everything you need at a walking distance from a Supermarket to cafes, restaurants, bars and so on, and of course the beach and the Lighthouse. Both Clara and Patrícia were very nice and attentive people. They did their job amazingly as ive worked for many years in the same area i think it's important to point out the excellent staff.

There was a problem with the payment as we thought i was charged when we made the reservation (it was a non refundable and it was made 3 months prior). They weren't very flexible and we had to go run to ATMs to find € to pay them. It was an unessessary hassle and we ended up paying more than what the price was when we made the reservation. Of course we understood that this is the management's fault and not the people who we interacted with. But it made our trip a bit more sour. The tv doesn't work at all. Starts out good, then 2 min later it glitches a lot, makes it impossible to watch tv. There is not dish washer (would make the apartment perfect) so you have to wash everything by hand which was a hassle bit not a major problem. The kitchen cloths provided (2) do not absorv water what so ever, so when you try to dry the dishes it does not work at all. The pressure in the shower is very very weak, we recommend fixing that asap, specially when now there are shower heads that fix the problem for you instead on relying on your water provider. The towels aren't the best quality and they don't absorv the water from the body. I would also change the knives in the kitchen as they are dull and the cutting boards as they are pretty used up.
