Palazzo Cordoni

everything was extraordinary. appartement was one in million experience. Like a castle .. two fireplaces, extra space, ancient furniture and room & kitchen design. some rooms that we did not even use.

Il palazzo Cordoni si trova nel bel centro storico di Città di Castello. Dall'ingresso del palazzo, alle scale che conducono al primo piano si apprezza già il valore storico dell'edificio. L'appartamento è ampio e adeguato alle esigenze di una coppia con un figlio. Non è moderno ma secondo i nostri gusti è questo che lo rende affascinante perchè dai suoi muri, dalle sue finestre, dal suo arredamento, dai quadri, dagli oggetti presenti si respira qualcosa oltre che della storia del palazzo anche del proprietario che l'ha abitato e che permane. E' proprio questo che rende l'alloggio unico, diverso da qualsiasi residence costruito e arredato in serie. Questo ci è piaciuto oltre ogni difetto che potrebbe esserci

La biancheria presente in bagno. Era pulita ma sembrava tirata fuori da un cassetto dopo molto tempo che vi era stata riposta

Huge living room, huge dining room, huge kitchen, large bedroom with door, large bedroom without a door to separate it from the living room.

Nowadays, every place needs more electric outlets near the bed.

Beautiful and very spacious. A wonderful treat.!

Location - central and spacious. Beds comfy.

Very hot in August. No AC. A bit dated could do with some TLC. No glasses (other than wine glasses) or plates / bowls etc. couldn’t have self-catered if we wanted to.

The location was very good, in the centre of Citta di Castello, near shops & restaurants. It was quiet and easy to find. We parked in the free parking outside the old city walls, just about five minutes walk away. The dining room/ salon was traditionally furnished & attractive & the kitchen was quite well-equipped, although we would have liked a kettle!

The apartment is spacious but the second bedroom has no door if you need to use it (we only used the main bedroom). We found the chairs in the sitting room area very low and not comfortable. The shower room needed some updating, the enclosure was leaking and flooding the floor. We did tell the owner who thanked us - so hopefully it would be mended for the next guest.
