La Mar Salá

Apartment is very spacious and there is a nice private yard in the back with a grill. We were five surfers so we had a lot of equipment with us but still had more than enough room for everything. There is a lot of parking in front of the house and also you have one private parking spot to leave your car if needed. The best grocery market in Punta Del Hidalgo is very nearby.

The neighbour had a barking dog that usually started barking early in the morning for some reason. Some of the appliances like the coffee machine and the toaster were cheap plastic ones and seemed a bit slow compared to some newer or more expensive ones. But they got the job done.

The location was just perfect and super close to the ocean. You can hear the waves while sleeping and it's really nice. Car park is just in front of the entrance and there is a great supermarket just minutes away. The terrace is huge and really great to spend time there and enjoy your meals. It's also very convenient that the house has two bathrooms. We had a situation the first night we came in. One of the door locks got broken and someone got lock into the bathroom with no way to get out. It was 22:00 and they came right away with the tools to broke the door lock!

The apartment was not very clean when we arrived, especially sink in the bathroom and kitchen utensils. There were no trash bags and we were a bit confused about some of the towels, if they are fresh or they forgot to change them after previous guests. We bought the bags and washed the towels ourselves, but I'm sure the owner would take care of it if we would ask for it. We just thought it's not a big deal.
