I was expecting my view and paid the extra to be as the picture showed, bed facing a sea view but that wasn't the view.

Hôtel correct pour une nuit, proche du port pour ceux qui arrivent ou partent en ferry. Accueil souriant, chambre propre.

Salle de bain très exiguë et datant d'une autre époque, peu de pression dans la douche. Nous étions deux avec une seule chaise sur la terrasse.

Das Zimmer war geräumig und der Gastgeber sehr nett.

Das Badezimmer war sehr klein, deshalb war das Duschen etwas schwierig. Uns hat der Lärm von der Fähre die täglich, auch in der Nacht, sehr gestört. Es war laut und wir konnten keine Nacht durchschlafen.

There is a little walking involved to the town which encompasses hills.

"A quiet, authentic Greek holiday."

Antonis greeted me upon arrival. The process was warm and efficient. He went out of his way to help us when we got a flat tire on a holiday weekend. Truly, the best host. The port views from room balconies are beautiful. Poros is a different & arguably more authentic Greek experience than resort-heavy Argostoli. Poros town center is lovely and the hotel is a great base for island day trips. Skala's excellent beaches are a few minutes' drive from the hotel. I spent six nights at Faro de Porto in August and the AC worked perfectly. Highly recommended. Great Value.

Poros Beach is average. But other beautiful beaches are nearby.
