Тhe view and the village and the host were all perfect!

El apartamento es amplio y tiene de todo y ademas tiene unas vistas preciosas de Agios Matheoss. Caminando está a menos de 5 minutos y Agios Matheoss es el lugar perfecto para vivir el ambiente local, nos encantó nuestra estancia en Pavlos Sofias Suites.. Estuvimos muy a gusto y lo mejor, la amabilidad de Sofía y Pavlovs, nos hicieron sentir cómo en casa y Pavlovs nos ayudó con un problema con el coche

La subida en coche al apartamento es complicada, muy estrecha y muy empinada, es solo para conductores expertos. Lo mejor es dejar en el coche en el pueblo y subir caminando por el pueblo y sus bonitas calles

Corfu Island turned out to be a much different experience than what I had imagined for a trip to Greece, but staying at the Pavlos Sofia Apartment in Agios Matthaios village was truly unique. Located right in the heart of the village, it offers a genuine taste of local life. The narrow roads and sharp corners can be challenging to navigate, even for experienced drivers, especially on the first attempt. The apartment itself is tidy, neat, and well-maintained. Sofia, the owner, is very friendly, and Mr. Pavlos is always reachable by phone. Any issues we encountered in the apartment were resolved within 30 minutes, which was very reassuring. The warm hospitality of the hosts made our stay even more enjoyable. From here, you can immerse yourself in the village lifestyle and even witness cultural events. The village remains lively even at midnight, with hotels and other places still open. One thing to note is that most of Corfu’s main attractions are located on the other side of the island, with driving times ranging from about 30 minutes (Paleokastritsa Beach) to around 90 minutes (Canal d’Amour).

L'emplacement dans le village de Agios Mattheos est idéal. Typique, chaleureux et proche des plages et des lieux touristiques. Pavlos et Sofia sont très accueillants et disponibles pour la moindre demande !

Pavlos and Sofia were extremely good hosts . The apartment was clean tidy and modern .

If you want to experience an authentic life in a corfiot mountain village this is a good place. Host was friendly and helpful. She came with the car after us. We were welcomed with fruits and wine. Also close to this property there is Pantokratoras Vigla Wildlife Sanctuary. There are some trails and we had great hiking trips for sunrise and sunset. There are also some nice beaches around. My favourites were Prasoudi and Black Rocks. Inside you can find everything a house need. There are more things that could have been explained better: 1. The property has two levels and you can reach inside from a wooden spiral ladder. 2. The property has two entrances. 3. The property has a parking place. But we did not use it because it is very hard to reach it because you have to go up by car on narrow and steep streets. We parked near the church. I prefered this instead of stress or improving my driving skils. 4. The washing machine is outside, in the garrage. 5. You can also acces the property on foot but you will have to put some effort. That was not a problem for us.

Hard to access the property by car. We were told we had to pay an extra 8 euro / night tax. They said there is a law that impose this. We checked this calling booking.com. Did not recieve any recipt for that. We did not know that when we booked. So, prepare extra 8 euros per night. This is something you should know before booking.
