BayView House

The property was in an excellent location overlooking the harbor. It was clean and Mafalda was an excellent host. We truly loved it.

The only thing I can say about the property was it was a little difficult to park close sometimes. But of course, there was a big festival in town so even the locals had a hard time finding a place to park.

The house is fully equipt - beds are comfy. The view is amazing. We stayed 8 days / 7 nights and enjoyed that we could reach any place in Angra by foot. Very quiet neighbourhood.

This accommodation had everything we could wish for and made our stay very comfortable. The view over the harbor was absolutely fantastic, and the location was perfect — close to the heart of the city and within easy walking distance of restaurants and attractions. The host was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. We truly enjoyed our stay here.

Roomy lounge, bright with fantastic views. Bed comfy, kitchen reasonably equipped. Friendly reception from host with good communication and a welcome pack bread, fruit, coffee. Directly outside you have a viewing platform overlooking the marina and town with Monte Brazil opposite. A few minutes walk into the town for restaurants and bars and a mini supermarket and bakeries close by. A reminder that this is the Azores and you do have hills. The road leading down to the property is steep especially by the property, ditto the road leading to the right in front of the property becomes very steep and narrow I advise you walk it before taking your car down! This of course is not the properties fault so does not detract from is great location.

Within the property the plumping needs some attention. It all works but it's in need of some work. The kitchen tap is loose, the loo refill will keep slowly refilling unless you make sure the plungerr has fully repositioned. Externally the listing does say free parking and it is. However it is at a premium and you may have to search for a space. You are advised not to park in front of peoples doors, the streets are so narrow that basically you'll block them. That said we found people parked right up against ours, so tight you could not get you suitcase in our out without lifting it across the car. We found that if you left the small window shutters in the door open it seemed to deter them. Again none of this is the properties fault, it is what it is, and so I would advise hiring the smallest car you can get away with! One last thing, lots of fantastic wood bookshelves and cupboards makes it homely but the high level kitchen cupboards are the depth of the work top and if you are like me you'll whack your head. I put a towel in the one over the sink to protect myself.

Lokalizacja świetnia, apartament bardzo komfortowy i czysty. Właścicielka bardzo sympatyczna. Jeśli wrócę na tą wyspę to na pewno będę chciała mieszkać w tym samym miejscu.

Location was fantastic. Host was very responsive and helpful.

The pillows and beds were not comfortable for us but that is a personal preference.

Beautiful view over the bay. Ample living & dining room space with comfortable sofa to relax. Kitchen well equipped for cooking. Provided with adequate washing detergent for self laundry. Free parking space in front of house

Wonderful apt. Felt like a real home. Great views and very comfortable and clean.

This was a huge, lovely, well equipped, comfortable clean apartment. It was very spacious and the living room couches were very comfortable too. Lots of pillows and a comfortable bed. We absolutely loved our stay here! It had all the comforts of home and we felt like we could live here.

The only minor complaint we had was the shower. The surface of the bathtub could get very slippery and a little dangerous while showering. A nonstick surface or rubber mat would help a lot.
