El Teide Apartment with Pool & Balcony

The accommodation has a perfect location, just a few minutes away from the majestic cliffs of Los Gigantes. Furthermore, you can have access to a community pool, which however is quite frequented. There are many kitchen amenities and an AC.

My problems with the accommodation started from the very beginning. I had informed the owner about my arrival and still had to wait more than 20 minutes in the heat for someone to arrive and bring the keys. My phone calls were not accepted and I was not responded to up until 10 minutes after waiting. Once I entered the apartment, I was taken aback a bit. There was a scaffolding covering half of the balcony of the apartment. I had not been informed about this beforehand. I was assured that construction work would only take place on the balcony of the neighbors, so I decided to accept the situation. The apartment itself was okay, it had everything that I needed, so I cannot complain. Privacy, however, was not given, since the noise isolation was basically non-existent and balconies were always adjacent to each other. On Monday morning at 7, the big problems started. Construction work started at full speed, with hammering and drilling and workers, of course, going to the part of the scaffold that covered the balcony of the apartment I was staying at. I had to change locations, as I felt very uncomfortable and was bothered by the excessive noise. The owner agreed to refund me the nights that I did not stay there. One night was not refunded, with the excuse that the existence of the construction site was a "force majeure", an unforseen event. How the owner of an apartment is not informed about such a construction site that seems to be ongoing for a while, is beyond me. Overall, I was very dissatisfied with my stay and the communication with the owners. I cannot, unfortunately, recommend this accommodation.

Good location, close to a shop, bus stop, sea. 10-15 min walk to the beach. The place is quite quiet. The apartment was clean and comfortable, the furniture was new and comfortable.

A second set of keys would be desirable. Internet is unstable.

The accommodation was just as we'd hoped for. Very clean with all the homely modern conveniences and touches that really make relaxing that much nicer. The host was very accommodating and easy to make contact with. The pool is very and maintained daily. There was always plenty of sun loungers and parasols to go around.

The sofa bed is made of faux leather which was flaking off all over the floor. There were plenty of blankets available which we used to cover the sofa the whole time we were there.

Love the location, great apartment. Well equipped, ideal for holidays.

Apartment have everything you need, very comfortable, clean, nice place to stay, calm and away from crowd, but close to everything. They clean pool every day. For a check in and check out simple arrangement, a very nice man and available for everything you need.. We enjoyed here!
