The room was spacious and clean, with a lovely balcony. The family who runs the place is super lovely. There is free parking right at the door and the place is a 2min walk from the beach.

There was low water pressure in the shower

I liked the owner's wife and son, they were friendly and hospitable. The WiFi worked very well for me, it was quiet, the room had a coffee maker and a fridge.

We were talking about completely different things with the owner, so the husband intervened in the conversation and in the middle of everything he had to get money from upstairs. It was a bit strange 🙄 Otherwise I would have given it a 9 or 9 1/2.

Good location for exploring Matala and rest of the 🏖️ around. I like the owners, they even gave me a washing machine to use.

NO HOT WATER NO GOOD HEATING

This place exceeded our expectations. Basic but really good value for money with everything you need, including a little balcony and a fridge in the room. The family who run it are also really nice. Perfect location with free parking lot right opposite and 2 minutes walk to the beach.
