LIKES: 1) We liked that the host was very responsive, communicative and supportive. This is rare in PDC, so we're very appreciative and would definitely stay here again simply for this reason alone. 2) The apartment and pool area were exactly as what was shown in the pictures: Clean, spacious, and well maintained. While there was no real "gym" there was a stationary bike near the pool and the pool is long enough to swim mini laps in. 3) The windows in our apartment were frosted this gave us more privacy while still having lots of daylight. At night there are blackout shades that can be pulled down for a more cozy feel. The balcony is cozy too, it doesn't have a great view (for that go to the pool!) but if you like keeping the window open the pagoda provides some shade and privacy.

DISLIKES (by no means dealbreakers, we overall loved our stay and would stay there again) 1) While parties and animals are supposedly not permitted, I don't think other tenants received the same memo because on 3 of our 7 nights, there was a loud party one night, loud music another and a loud barking dog that annoyed all the neighbors on our last night there. The building is not soundproof so loud noises echo easily through the walls, hallways and stairway. Earplugs worked well with daily noises but the louder noises were more challenging. 2) Netflix seemed only available to those who already have a Netflix account. We don't have one so we watched movies on Tubi and YouTube instead. 3) The hot water tank for the shower was very small and water only stayed hot for 1-2 minutes before turning lukewarm to cold. This meant very quick showers!

Nice neighborhood close to the beach and major attractions. I found everything for cooking.

Noisy neighbourhood

Cute studio, has all what you need, smart tv, comfy bed, kitchen stuff, and a very helpful host who’ll make sure you don’t miss anything

Not much

This is a very nice, well airconditioned studio unit, 10-15 mins easy walk from the tourist central Avenida Cinco, 8 minutes from the second ADO bus station to the airport, with Walmart, Aki and Soriana mega grocery stores within a few blocks A 12 minute walk to Don Quijote Spanish school.The unit was spotless, with a comfortable bed, nice linens, great shower, an induction stove top, fridge, coffee maker fridge, microwave etc. and the two starter bottles of water were super appreciated. A big TV is opposite the sofa and bed area. The owner is very attentive to your questions and needs and the lovely staff and security lady very helpful. There is a little balcony with no real view, but a sunscreen so you can sit out for morning coffee. Or go up the roof to the lovely sitting lounge area and 4ft deep pool where you can do short laps. I had the pool to myself every time. Tips: make sure you have a cell phone flashlight or similar as the entry key box numbers are hard to see sometimes, Also take grippy water shoes for when you exit the pool, because the tiles are really really slippery when wet. Put them on as soon as you step out. Overall a very nice stay and would absolutely recommend.

A small or mid size boiling pan would be helpful and an extra chopping board and extra dish towel for the kitchen..

Felt very safe with the door lock and security guard downstairs. Studio was a good size, I liked the big blind, blocking out the light and the bedside lamps, making the room look cozy at night.

The view out from balcony is not very pretty, can‘t help what the neighbours are like.

The studio is situated near the Ado Alterna bus stop, it's just a 10 minutes walk. Also, there are restaurants and supermarkets close. It's also easy to get to the beach, just a 15 minutes walk. It was clean. It has all the facilities to cook breakfast.

It's not sound proof at all, you can hear the neighbours and, some nights, their dog will bark a lot waking you up.
