FLH Oporto Wine Cellars Luxury Apartment II

The apartment were very well located. Clean and comfy beds.

After booking with Booking.com we were transferred to another provider. We had to complete pre-checking forms electronically. We did this on different devices, all said you are Pre-checkin process completed. But only the third went through, which was annoying because reminders kept popping up. We had to pay a fee because we arrived after 11pm and because they had to send someone to meet us. Even after we have given our exact time of arrival we had to wait on the street for almost 20minutes in the middle of the night. No lock boxes, which could easily solve this issue. Accessibility issue and safety concern for stairs going to bedroom. The stairs to the bedroom have a unique design. They are very steep on descend and when sleepy, they become actually dangerous. I had a fall on them hurting my arm coming down. We are both able bodied and agile. this might have been one of the most difficult bookings and experiences we have had, unfortunately. Don't think we've ever had to write a review like this.

Location was very convenient. The flat is really pretty, we had there everything we needed. The common area downstairs is also a great idea

The location was great and it was in good taste.

The stairs specially the ones to the loft. As a result I had to use the couch instead in the living room. The other unfortunate problem was remodeling done below during our last five days, and a very offensive smell of varnish and loud noise made it disagreeable to spend time inside. Luckily there is much to visit and do in beautiful Porto and by the Douro.

It was perfectly located for my father who Would have struggled in the hilly parts of Porto. It was very convenient for the purpose of our trip which was to be on the river front and easy access to the port houses and tours.

Very good apartment, nice spaces and good zone to stay. There's a lot of good restaurants near, wine tastings, the Douro river boat tours... I mean, you have almost everything pretty close. Also a self-service-laundry store.

The cleaning of the apartment can be better. I found a spider web in a living-room-corner, black mold in the shower. The bathroom door can't be closed and also get stuck with the floor. The kitchen extractor doesn't seems to be working. There's a lot of "tiny" things that makes the apartment to seems worse than actually is.

this is a great property and very well situated. Everything was very clean and it had everything necessary. We we very pleased overall. The staff was very nice and they give you lots of tips about Oporto.

The only problem we encountered was that this property is very close to a hotel which plays really loud music till late at night so it was very hard to sleep on Saturday.
