La Scogliera

Excellent location with a perfect view off the balcony! It was awesome to sleep with the sound of the sea. Well appointed apartment. Nicely decorated. Just lovely!

The location is fantastic! Very easy walk from the train station. Absolutely beautiful views from the apartment. Appreciated the washing machine and that detergent was provided. Bed was comfortable, but note that the twin bed is in the same room as the larger bed. I had expected a small sitting room that the twin bed would be in. The apartment is small and serviceable, but certainly not luxurious. However, the location can’t be beat for the money.

The shower was not only tiny (not unexpected), but had a huge rain head shower that dripped cold water on you no matter what. It also had nowhere to put any products not even a bar of soap. No products were provided other than hand soap in the bathroom, dish soap in the kitchen, a big bottle of cheap shampoo in the shower, and toilet paper. There’s no paper towel towels, no napkins, no bathing products or a bar of soap.

Great location overlooking the water. We spent each night on the balcony just listening to the waves. It was our favorite stay in Italy!

You don’t have control over the thermostat and it was a warm week to not have AC.

The location was absolutely beautiful. You simply open the doors to the balcony and watch the waves! Located in between the large parking lot and the tunnel to the old town center, near the train station proved to be very convenient for our short stop in Monterosso. It was easy to explore Cinque Terre and use this location as a jumping off point. We found a wonderful restaurant nearby for dinner and left our car parked in the lot when we departed to stay and explore in the other villages. The apartment has everything for a comfortable stay. It was clean and roomy enough for the 2 of us. It is above a gelato shop, so that was a nice perk. Our only glitch was getting the instructions to enter the building and the apartment. We had trouble getting things to pre-load with regards to this booking so we could complete the online forms. When we arrived we had not received any instructions for door codes, so we were outside for about 30 min trying to figure out how the get in the building. Finally after a few phone calls, text messages and emails - we received the codes needed to get inside. While stressful at the moment, it all turned out ok in the end. And the beautiful view made all the stress go away!

The difficulty in getting information is the only complaint. Otherwise, this was a wonderful stay. We loved Monterosso al Mare!

Ideal location and very clean

Advertised as two beds but the sofa bed didn’t have any bedding. Owner got some delivered the next day.
