The area is perfect - grocery/supermarkets, shopping center including restaurants (and obligatory Irish pub) all within about 5-10 minutes walk of the apartment complex. Plenty of space & privacy in the apartment and anything you could need included. Felt like a home away from home! We flew to Spain for a wedding and the host was very accomodating allowing us early check-in and late check-out which meant we had less things to stress about! The housekeeper Silke was great for answering any questions we had while we stayed - given the chance we would absolutely stay again!

Pillows in bedroom

We come to this part of Spain every year, so we know our way around. The property was clean, all necessities were there and more. It was really like being in a house that's actually lived in. Or the owners really thought about what a person might need when they are there. Want to eat a pizza? There's a pizza cutter. It might sound silly, but 90% of rental homes won't have it. So with anything we needed, we found it somewhere, which was great. You can just cross the street to the shopping center. You can get your groceries, go get a snack, get your hair done, whatever you want, right across the street! We drove there and used our car to go to the beach and do some trips, but you can fly out here, get a taxi to the property and then be perfectly fine without a car since there is so much to do close by. The pool was very nice as well, with a separate area for children. Around the pool also a lot of options for kids to play. There is so much to do in the area, lovely places in nature to visit. If you like cycling, it's ideal as well. After just a couple of minutes you're out of the bustling streets and on nice Spanish roads with lots of other cyclists.

We had to retrieve the keys from a lock box. I contacted the owner who told me that wasn't how it was supposed to be. So the key holder was to blame here. Parking. We stayed in this exact same urbanization before, but the one next to it (which is the same, but mirrored). We know there is underground parking for nearly every unit. So we were a bit surprised to hear from the key holder that we had to park outside on the street. But then we found a remote inside the property which, lo and behold, opened the underground garage... I contacted the owner after our trip, who confirmed that we could have just parked there. So yeah, once again the key holder. It was an absolute nightmare to park on the street with my car and unpack everything. There was no space, so I had to idle in the middle of the road and hope that nobody would enter the street. They did, of course. I had to hop in and do a lap around the block 3 times while attempting to unpack (and that's a big freaking lap, believe me). That could have been avoided if we had just been able to park on site.

The apartment was beautifully presented and sparkling clean, all the facilities were excellent, kitchen and bathrooms very well kitted out, great outdoor furniture, and as it was a corner house, it had the benefit of extra garden space so you got the sun for longer. It's across the road from La Zenia Boulevard shopping centre, 10 mins walk to Paddys Point. 10 to 15 min walk to the beaches.

Overall we Enjoyed our stay in the Property, Great location. Looking ahead Security Grills on the bedroom Window & Patio doors with Mosquito blinds would be great, so u could air at nite & sleep without the need to run the Air-con.

The master bed was a small Double, plenty of room to go larger. The Pillows could also be upgraded.

It was a lovely modern property with amazing air con in an excellent location with a fabulous outdoor area. It has an amazing swimming pool and outdoor facilities for families. The location is great if you like the area as it is close to the beach and the shopping centre. We will be coming back next year!

Although the beds were great the pillows in the master bedroom need updating to make it more comfortable, and unfortunately the hair dryer didn’t work. However, it’s not a major issue and we cannot wait to come back.
