Los Angeles 3 Bed Apartment with Pool

The rooftop is lovely and the mattresses are adequate.

The cleanliness. There are major issues with upkeep and maintenance, notably in the bathroom : dusty vents, the shower fixtures are plastic and not metal (as pictured), and these fixtures have a layer of limescale and other crud building up on them, notably at the bottle. The bathroom drains always smell and so they need to be kept closed, but there’s very little ventilation and it keeps them humid which is gross. There is mold growing on the tiles in the corner of the bathroom. All this is what happens when foreign owners buy places they rarely set foot in and don’t keep up themselves, to put the squeeze on other tourists. In the kitchen and the bathroom the drains clog very easily. Comments that say the kitchen is well-equipped seem to me surprising : the tools in the kitchen are old and rusting and/or half broken, the knifes are dull, the non-stick cookwear is all scratched up (literally a health hazard !! PFAS, look them up, you shouldn’t expect guests to cook with this stuff), no pans were available to use the oven so we bought some ourselves (along with draino, so we could wash up after using the kitchen…)

been a few times within the area first time I stayed in Puerto de Santiago. the apartment was spacious ,clean and well stocked for self catering also a good central location for shops,bars restaurants etc.the roof top pool is great with fantastic views. on the square opposite the apartment there's a little Spanish bar called the plaza it's very reasonable price wise for food and drinks owner is very helpful, two minute walk there is an Italian pizza place very good and very reasonable also .if you like a walk there is plenty to see absaloutly stunning scenery. would recommend this place and will be booking again . thanks Pat McDaid

noise from works in the street and building, beds could be better, too much in 1 apartment

A lovely apartment (and balcony) with great space for myself and 3 teenage boys (14-17) who really appreciated the rooftop swimming pool...bonus! All facilities really are provided. Excellent location (barring the noise from a new hotel opposite which is currently being renovated). Approx. 30 mins in a taxi from TFS Airport. Friendly residential area with a lovely square right outside the apartment which has a small children's playground and lots of social space to gather. Surrounding beaches and swimming coves are lovely. Short walking distance to supermarket, shops and bus stops (we didn't have a car but this wasn't a barrier to getting out and about). Buses arrive exactly on time! Special mention to Kata who called us when our flight was late in to see if she could get us some provisions from the nearby Lidl as it would be closed by the we time arrived! - a lovely gesture :-) and excellent communication with James (host) pre- and during our stay. Thank you.

- Aforementioned noise (not the hosts' fault). - Drain smells from the 2 bathrooms (probably unavoidable, would advise to keep doors closed) - Heat (unless you don't mind the windows open all night!). No AC but large fans are provided.

Our plane was delayed and we arrived very late, after check-in time . My phone didn't connect to WiFi so we didn't receive the messages from the host . So a bit of a mix up (not the hosts fault) eventually managed to contact the host and the keys arrived within 10 minutes.

All was good for the price. So no complaints

Very friendly and ready to help host. A lot of room for a big family. Convenient location

The apartment could use a bit of sprucing up. It's in need of some refreshing. Reconstruction work near our apartment caused a lot of noise.

Using the well-equipped kitchen, we could prepare our own meals. I would only suggest equipping the kitchen with sharper kitchen knives

Great space, clean and comfortable. Large enough for 4 friends to share for a break. Location was good, walking distance to local amenities and slightly out of the busier tourist areas which we liked. Plenty of crockery and cooking equipment for eating at the apartment. Beds and pillows comfortable, plenty of seating for relaxing and eating. Provided two sets of keys which was handy. Great communication from the host and super friendly.

The decor was a little tired- some marks and knocks around the paintwork. One of the showers wasn’t really useable due to the limescale on the head- water sprayed in every direction. One of the bedroom door handles was broken so it could only be shut by locking from the inside, not ideal for couples if someone wants to sleep earlier. The balcony door didn’t lock closed so felt a little concerned about security
