We received all instructions before we reach the place. Also received a welcome message via whatsapp (business account). Quickly responded to my questions about throwing trash away and malfunctioning of the elevator in the building (this apartment is on the 3rd floor and on one morning when the elevator was not working, we had to carry our baby stroller down ourselves - but the elevator was working by the evening).

Uploading documents and filling forms before reaching the apartment - this is something my other accommodation in other italian city also requested - seems like a regulatory/formal way of checkin (similar to how you'd check in for flights by uploading documents and filling forms) - this could have been done right after the booking - but the host messaged me about uploading documents right before we started our trip to Italy.

Appartemento dove avevo già avuto il piacere di soggiornare, l'ho riscelto perchè mi sono trovato molto bene. Zona tranquilla, parcheggio molto grande, posizione perfetta per le mie esigenze, self check in facile e veloce. Appartamento pulito e ordinato come al solito.
