Eine schöne große Ferienwohnung mit einem großen Balkon und einem fantastischen Ausblick. Das Bad und die Küche sind schön groß, ebenso das eine Schlafzimmer. Das zweite Schlafzimmer ist recht klein, aber für 2 Kinder ausreichend mit einem kleinen Schrank ausgestattet. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und hell. Die Vermieter sind sehr, sehr freundlich ubd hilfsbereit und wohnen im unteren Teil des Hauses. Die Umgebung ist schön ruhig - in der Nähe gibt es kleine Supermärkte, Restaurants und ein Fitness-Studio.

Die Matrazen sind ungewöhnlich hart, insbesondere bei den Betten im kleinen Schlafzimmer. Etwas mehr Besteck und Geschirr wäre schön. Z.B. gab es nur 4 Messer und nur 6 Teller, dh man musste bei 4 Personen wirklich nach jeder Mahlzeit abwaschen.

Has nothing to do with the place or the hosts! but parking is a bit challenging. Alongside a very steep road. Luckily there is a parking bay available.

very nice owners. Clean easy to pick up keys and they are helpful. We were also warmly welcomed. good location for trips and good restaurants nearby. Also beautiful view on the ocean

This was an amazing place to stay when you explore Madeira by car, especially for families. It was a very quiet and calm place (except for 2 nights when there was a local festival). There was a supermarket and a beach close ‐ by car. In the evening there was no traffic when returning to the village (compared to Funchal for example). The apartment was very well equipped with everything you might need. The terrace was perfect! Cooking in the kitchen was very great too. Our hosts were very kind and helpful. They were amazing. We absolutely loved our stay here and 100% recommend!

You have to park on a street with a slope. The apartment is on the first floor, it wasn't a problem for us, but for someone it could be a problem to walk up narrow stairs or to carry up luggage.

Great size balcony to overlook the ocean and beautiful sunsets. Great size property overall. Lovely hosts, helpful and friendly. Less than 10 minutes drive to the local beach.

Very steep road to get to the property but there is another way around and once you do the drive a couple of times you get used to it!:)

Kind hosts, arriving at night was not a problem (the hosts live on the ground floor, the apartment is on the 1st floor, it has a separate entrance). Nice, spacious and clean apartment with pleasant terrace. Fairly calm place. The beach in Calheta was accessible by car in 5 minutes. The washing machine came in handy.

Longer journeys to the eastern part of the island (but still within reach).
