Casa Vacanza & Suite Joy

The apartment was attractive, clean, comfortable and well furnished with all you might need for a self-catering stay. The car park slot was immediately in front of the apartment and made for very easy unloading/loading. It was also secure having electric gates operated by a clicker. The owner was very pleasant and friendly and offered good advice and suggestions to help with things to do and places to go during our stay. Also, very helpful on apartment related matters, even providing an outdoor electric grill to barbecue on as other kinds are not allowed on safety grounds. It was within a 10 to 20 minute walk (depending on your route) to the main centre but also had a number of bars, cafes & restaurants within a few minutes walk. A three minute drive gets you to 2 large supermarkets, a Lidl and the other, a Conad, also walkable depending on how much you need to carry. The apartment is also well sited for access from main roads in and out of Peschiera del Garda and is an excellent base for visiting other places of interest and getting to the other towns around the Lake Garda.

Although there was a small seating area with garden furniture at the front of the apartment, it was fully visible from the road and we didn't feel comfortable using it to sunbathe although it was fine to sit and have a coffee or eat there. Similarly, the road is a busy one and the noise from it can be intrusive, as can the rail line that is close by. Having written the above, I have to say that we still had a good stay.

It’s a home, we thoroughly enjoyed it. It’s lovely Garda.

Great location. Lovely host super helpful went out of the way to help us. Everything was smooth and communication was excellent. Highly recommended for a family.

It was a pleasant stay and from time to time a visit from the dog that wanted to play. There’s still so much to discover. Thanks again for your hospitality and will certainly keep you in mind next time we will be in the vicinity.

Lovely hostess. Location in a quiet street but 5 minutes drive from the center. There is private parking for one car and there are free parking spaces on the street. Good and equipped kitchen. A large bathroom includes a washing machine. Games for children.

The stairs and the parquet on the upper floor are noisy. It would be nice if there was a TV in the bedroom upstairs and not just in the living room.

Spacious, clean and great location. Fully equipped with everything (and more) you could need for your stay. Washing machine very handy as we spent a lot of time in the lake. Lidl not far away and a safe neighbourhood. Simonetta was fantastic! Very welcoming, friendly and very accommodating. Great communication and Simonetta kindly dropped us off to the train station. A home away from home for sure. Highly recommend.
