The house is in the heart of this historic town. It's close to all amenities. Clean and functional. As it has internal stairs, leading to the rooms would not recommend to someone with any physical disabilities.

Excellent central location yet very quiet, close to all Staufen has to offer. Beds are massive and super comfortable. Flat is well appointed and very clean and tidy. Parking is very close by.

A heavy smoker lives in the flat downstairs and often a strong smell of smoke permeated upstairs.

Everything! It was clean, spacious, beds were very comfortable. Our hosts were lovely and so helpful. Location was amazing!! The balcony looking out over the pedestrian part of the Old Town was wonderful. Staufen is a beautiful town and to be right in the heart of it was amazing.

This apartment had a lot of space. Very good for a family who has been spending too much time together.

The bathroom was a little awkward with a glass door.

The situation in the centre of Staufen is excellent. Accommodation very clean and tidy.

The shower facilities were a little strange, there being only one which was next to the kitchen and separated by a glass sliding door. This door was not completely opaque, so could have been slightly embarrassing! There was also a leak in the bathroom from the heating boiler. We did report this to the owner, but had no response.

it is very centrally located. Easy to get to and has parking directly at the property. That is very rare in a old historical town.

It has a lot of stairs so if you have mobility problems it’s not for. you. However even though I have problems walking I managed the stairs well. The mattress was to soft for me, but that varies per person so I wouldn’t call it a problem.

The location is great, right in the middle of the old town in Staufen. Parking space is available right outside the entrance to the apartment. The apartment is spacious. It is a duplex, with one bedroom, living/dining, kitchen and shower room on the first level with a second bedroom and WC on the upper level. The bedrooms are spacious and one bedroom has a nice little balcony where you can sit overlooking the square. Lots of windows with plenty of natural light and the ability to cool the apartment on hot days by opening windows on opposite sides of the apartment. Generally well equipped apartment, including washing machine Note the apartment is located on the first floor so not suitable for people with mobility issues.

We had a good stay here but there are some things to improve. The front door lock is tricky. The curtains in the bedroom are very thin and the bedroom faces the rising sun, we stayed in July, the room is bright at 5.00 am. The bedding is not cotton and of poor quality. These things are easily remedied and would improve the quality of the stay. Also the shower room is located directly off the kitchen, there is a frosted glass sliding door between the kitchen and the shower room which offered little privacy. This might not bother some but we did not like this aspect of the apartment.
