Guido's Apartment Villa Romana

Very close to the centre and the lake. Excellent view. Guido is quite helpful.

Guido was an amazing host, after finding out we were getting into Malpensa at 21:30 and either paying £350 for a transfer, or getting a Bus to Milano Centrale, then a train then a bus this late her offered to pick us up for 80 euros which was amazing and saved a lot of stress. The view from the balcony was amazing, and we had fireworks on the Saturday to watch thanks to the Cycling Festival. The blinds are total blackout blinds. The kitchen/dining area was well stocked with utensils and appliances. The location had little noise form outside. It was minutes' walk from the main square.

There wasn't an iron, but we survived, but I am sure if we asked Guido we would have assisted or advised where to get one if needed.

Fabulous location - quiet yet seconds from the lake and the shops and restaurants. Overlooks Villa Romana which is a lovely view. It’s a compact apartment with a great bathroom, balcony and small kitchen.

The living room / second bedroom is very compact :) but has all you need.

Easy check-in, lots of info from Guido who was easily contactable through the stay. Position couldn’t be better with amazing views over the Roman Villa and out onto the lake in a central private residential area. Guido gave us a key to access secure underground parking for our rental Vespa. Lovely little bakery just around the corner for fresh breakfast pastries and an Aldi within walking distance for other supplies. Pleasant walk to the lakeside, restaurants, shops and ferry and only a 30 minute walk to the train station. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again :)

Not the property itself and out of the host’s control but the neighbours very loud clock (think church bell) which chimes the hours and a single chime on the half hour 24 hours a day. Guido kindly provides ear plugs but they made my ears sore - I would suggest guests take their own noise cancelling earphones or plugs.

The apartment's location is great and the place is furnished with everything one needs. Super friendly host! Would definitely stay there again.

The neighbour's clock is indeed a bit annoying. We got used to it really quickly though and didn't have any issues sleeping.

The location was amazing, beautiful views from the balcony and very close to the lake and the beautiful city centre. Guido was very helpful and nice to talk to, always responded quickly and did his best to accomodate us. There was no issue with communication in english (and a little polish, too). Despite our late arrival the host was very understanding as well. The apartment was well kept and a pleasure to live in, we used the paid parking that was within walking distance to the apartment, which made moving our luggage easy. Will certianly go back there, both the host and the place are worthy of recommendation

Wish we had stayed there longer ;)
