very beautiful place, clean and looks new. I had everything at the small studio that I needed for a few nights. The location was fine, I wanted to stay further from the city center and from where the most people are staying. But it was still easy to walk to the beach (10 to 20 min), supermarket (10 min), bus station (12 min), city center (20 to 30 min), entrance to national park (10 min). I didn't visit Starigrad Paklenica by car but by public bus + walking. I had my own terrace next to my studio (different entrance though) where I could dry up my clothes/swimwear which was a plus. There's a table and chairs on the terrace, too, facing the mountains. They let me to check in a bit earlier and check out a bit later (depends on other guests, obviously). Good wifi, nice room, fully-equipped kitchen and bathroom. Nice big shower. Plus, the roof terrace on the top floor (common space for all the apartment guests) had an incredible 360 view of the Paklenica national park/Velebit mountains and also sea in the background. I really enjoyed my time at the terrace, especially at sunset when it was windy and less mosquitoes.

Other guests were noisy and it was really bothering me. I was using ear plugs at night and earphones during the day to hear less but I could still hear everything from other apartments: them talking, moving furniture at midnight, taking shower, water in the sink, walking up and down the stairs next to my apartment (I was on the main floor). I could hear just a little bit of noise from the outside when I closed the windows and window shades but the noise inside the building was a nightmare to me. And when I wanted to take a nap in the afternoon because I really didn't sleep much at night, I could hear loud washing machine or something like that almost every afternoon (no idea where from). And the apartment owner really disappointed me when I first told him about the noise. His first reaction was that he didn't hear anything. I had to tell him more times until he fnally said he'd tell other guests. But what I was told then was that other guests wanted to enjoy their holidays and they could be loud by midnight. So disappointing owner chose noisy disrespectful guests over me, very quiet person who wanted to sleep because I paid for the apartment to sleep. If I wanted to stay at a loud place, I'd chosen somewhere right next to the main square and not far. I'd appreciate some plants on both terraces and sunbeds + an umbrella providing shade might be a good idea for terraces. I would certainly appreciate having them there to spend some time there during the day enjoying the amazing views. It was too hot to stay there when the sun was shining otherwise. Very loud fridge and annoying wifi + TV lights at night in my face but we managed to switch them off for the night after I asked for it.

The place and hosts were amazing. Apartament was very well prepared for our stay, we had everything that was needed and more. The proximity to Paklenica and also to shop was very comfortable but above all We have to say, that our stay was perfect mainly because of the hosts. They were very easy-going, hearty and helpfull! The roof tarrace with view on mountains and the sea was astonishing! One of our best stays at Starigrad, hope that we will have more opprunities to stay at this place in future!

The property is great, located in walk distance to the Paclenica National park and sea coast. Hosts are very kind and supportive. The rooms are clean, all facilities for the comfort living are included. It’s definitely worth to stay here!

Very well equipped clean apartment not far from the sea and the Velebit mountains - a great starting point. Additionally, a large terrace with a well thought out separation from the neighbor. Weekly stay included beachcombing, swimming on our own SUP board, excursions to the mountains and additional car trips. Very friendly, helpful and understanding Hosts. I highly recommend this facility.

I didn't notice any shortcomings. The facility met my expectations.
