"No proper heating, blocked drainage, you have to clean the driveway yourself. Filth!"

The only positive of this place is that it is well located in the proximity of the Demänovská dolina. BUT BE CAREFUL. THE COTTAGE IS UNFIT FOR WINTER STAYS!

We arrived to this cottage during intense cold period with the prospect of a short skiing holiday. We found that the place froze and was left improperly maintained by the owner who lives in Bratislava and pays no attention whatsoever to what is going on on the premise. On the day of arrival there was about 10 degrees centigrade INSIDE THE HOUSE. The bathroom had ice developing in the shower and drainage was blocked, so no shower available! On top of that, the owner left heap of snow in the driveway so no parking available. I had to shovel the snow myself for good 30 minutes to park my car. Several phones not answered by the owner or his staff, messages ignored, and after intense night of heating by whatever means were available, we managed to get 15 degrees centigrade in the house. The issues were fixed only after Booking intervened, but it took the owner three days to react adequately. On top of that, the place was filthy. I'm not picky and it was cheap, but this is really an appaling place. Avoid at all cost!
