The apartment was very comfortable and beautifully done. The balcony was very nice to sit on and relax. There is some car noise but it did not bother us.

One of the main reasons I booked the property was for the “lake view” in the description. Unfortunately, this apartment is only on the second floor and there was no lake view at all. The other thing was very hard beds. 3 out of 4 had trouble sleeping on them.

A beautiful apartment in a building that also had offices and residents. Full of old fashioned charm and high quality furnished. The lovely owner met us there and took the extra money for the bedding. This wasn’t a problem as the apartment was much cheaper than other 3 bedroomed apartments. There was a lovely kitchen and a nice balcony to sit out on in the evening. The hot tub was clean and was free of charge. The gardens are beautiful and full of huge oleanders. Pretty lighting cones on in the garden in the evening. 100% recommended!

The apartment was very clean and roomy. We loved the amenities it offered and was in a great location.

Nothing, it was exactly what we hoped for.

The location was good, and the apartment was decorated tastefully.

The communication is terrible and there were not any instructions in the apartment or for check-in/out. Although disclosed, paying an additional $125 euro for linens is ridiculous. Upon arrival, we were also told we had to pay $2 euro per night per person as a tax, which was not disclosed in the rental description. The hot tub was cold and dirty, not functioning. The electrical breaker to the sauna turns off before the sauna reaches adequate temperature. We lost power in the apartment during dinner on our first night, so my husband had to search for the electrical box (downstairs in the building) to restore the power. There was no dish soap, dishwasher soap, paper towels or napkins provided. The TV does not work or was missing a remote control. The shower tile is dirty/moldy. The mattresses are stiff and hard. Bottled water was not provided as listed in the amenities. To top it all off the kitchen was INFESTED WITH ANTS! the owner had a man come in to sweep up the ants and put an insecticide down, but it did not take care of the problem during our stay. The owner was unwilling to address the lack of amenities advertised and seemed unconcerned with providing any customer service. Booking.com customer service has been very slow to respond and seems unconcerned with our experience. Don't stay here!!!

The apartment is in a lovely older building which is kept in a great condition. The apartment itself is kept in a perfect condition, well-decorated and built with quality materials like in the old days, but in a perfect condition. Large windows to the terrace with a lovely view of the lake.

Small details, i.e. the carpets could use the anti-slip underlay to prevent from moving on the hard floors. There seem to be a slight problem with the water pressure at night.

Location is within easy walk of Desenzano centre, ferries, restaurants and cafes and shopping. It is the most perfect place for seeing Lake Garda’s villages and wonderful scenery. Parking is on the property and secured by locked gates. Lovely patisserie over the Road. 300 metres to local supermarket with bus at front door. Outstanding!

Perhaps a tea towel and some washing up liquid or dishwasher tablets for those only booking a short stay.
