Marina Boathouse, lake windermere lets

We were already looking forward to our stay here and it exceeded our expectations. This will now be our go to stay in Bowness. The boathouse was in a great location, 15min walk into Bowness. It was very peaceful and quiet. The owner was very friendly and helpful, gave us all info we needed and answered any questions we had. The photos don't do it justice, it's bigger than we thought, modern and cosy. Everything you could possibly need was there, down to a hot water bottle when I wanted to sit outside on a chilly night. Also very clean! The best part for us was the balcony. We usually go out for drinks and nights out in bowness, we didn't leave the place on the first day and chose to stay in the second night. Was very relaxing sitting looking out of the view of marina and watching boats go by. We already have our second booking and can't wait to return next month. Thankyou so much!

This place is amazing , the apartment itself has everything you need, including " otter cam," which was great even though we missed the otter :) but it's the location and the amazing view that makes it special , even in February I sat outside wrapped up and in the morning were visted by swans and their cignet. Bowness is about a 20-minute walk away and there is a lovely restaurant on the marina . Would most definitely stay here again.
