Finca La Rana Verde

The hosts Breda and Thierry were wonderful and very accommodating. Their place is a bit farther from Ronda than we thought but it was a gorgeous drive and the property is outstanding.

The owners were very welcoming and friendly... it's a lovely finca in a tranquil area... we had a comfortable apartment and thoroughly enjoyed the swimming pool and our stay... we will definitely return...

A peaceful setting. Very cute and cosy accommodation with two terraces overlooking the countryside. We loved the daybed and the outdoor dining and we had the pool to ourselves. The nearby train to Ronda was a welcome bonus and the walk to Cortes de La Fronter, although steep, was beautiful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Rana Verde. Very cosy, lovely wood stove (as it was Autumn!) The hosts are very welcoming and helpful. Nearby when needed. But otherwise, let you get on with the stay with plenty of privacy, which is nice. Lovely comfortable beds and bed linen. The kitchen had all that was needed. Walking distance from the property (just over the river bridge), you are in the village with a train station. (routes to Ronda and Algeciras nearby and, from this station, you could travel anywhere in Europe!) We found a great little shop in the village and bought good meat. The area is renowned for wild game. The gardens were lovely and the pool. (We must return in warmer weather to try it out!)

Nothing, just perhaps, the towel I had was a bit rough and scratchy.

Very typical spanish rustic house. Great location and a place to relax think, read and away from it all.

This was my second visit, and as good as the first. Secure, clean, comfortable and well provided with what I needed. Good parking and wifi. Very helpful hosts. A lovely situation and close to the station. Good for bird watching and walking.

Location would be difficult without a car.

Wonderful, welcoming, relaxed and comfortable. Thierry and Breda are amazing hosts and gave us great ideas to make the most of the local area and walks. The apartment was lovely with fantasi views of the lush valley. The pool was immaculate and a joy to swim and lounge beside. We will be back.

Peaceful setting, great views, nice pool and guest lounging area, 8min easy walk into village and local cafe/bar, very friendly and helpful owners. Nice relaxing terrace outside studio, with dining and daybed. Good location near to Ronda and Gaucin. Will definitely return. ❤️
