Casa da Nazaré

This was the second time we have stayed here, we returned for 2 nights because we love the location, great view from the balconies, and the seafood restaurant O Farol, just a few steps away. We were in the top floor apartment which was spotlessly clean, the beds were comfortable and the aircon worked well. Great shower, also helpful to have a fridge/ freezer as it was so hot. The beautiful beach is a short (10 minutes) and fairly flat walk away. It was the end of the season but a couple of cafes were still open.

The kitchen is not well-equipped, but it was fine for us as we weren't planning on cooking. A coffee machine would be great. There was no communication at all from the host, which was different from last time we stayed. Parking can be an issue, and we had nowhere to park when we arrived, but luckily the cleaner let us have her space when she left. Be aware that it is 15 to 20 minutes drive to any shops, so buy your supplies on your way.

Da es bereits Nebensaison war, hatten alle Restaurants schon um 18h geschlossen, so dass es keine Möglichkeit gab, etwas zu Essen oder zu Trinken.

Location, amenities, cleaning, freindly staff

If you are planning for staying few nights and not be dependent on the restaurants bring everything you need for daily needs ( fruits, veg, food, coffee, milk and so). The nearest supermercado is in Azeitão which is 9 km far from Portinho ( but in a very nice roads)

La ubicación es fantástica para desconectar y disfrutar de una playa estupenda.

La cantidad de gatos que hay en las zonas comunes es exagerada. No se puede disfrutar de la terraza porque está llena de gatos, comida y algunos excrementos. Es una pena.
