Nice penthouse with sea views in Santa Cruz de La Palma

Het ruime appartement is precies zoals op de foto’s. Het is een warm appartement, gelukkig is er airconditioning in de slaapkamer. Zonwering op het mooie terras zou een welkome aanvulling kunnen zijn.

The location was exceptional, and parking in front of the rental was always available. The host was sweet and welcoming. Bonus: Keep your fitness level up with 60 stairs to the entry. Very picturesque inside - out.

Ce charmant et vaste appartement, au cachet indéniable, allie confort et emplacement privilégié. Situé dans un quartier calme tout en étant à deux pas des rues animées, il permet de profiter pleinement de la vie locale tout en savourant la quiétude du lieu. La terrasse, baignée de lumière matinale, offre le lever du soleil et reste ensoleillée jusqu’en milieu d’après-midi. Lorsque le soleil se fait plus intense, la petite cour nichée contre la roche procure une agréable fraîcheur. Le logement est d’une propreté irréprochable et remarquablement bien équipé. De délicates attentions (café, thé, condiments, papier aluminium...) témoignent du soin apporté à l’accueil. Tout y est pensé pour le confort des hôtes, jusqu’à la généreuse provision de serviettes de toilette. Le contact avec les propriétaires est chaleureux. Une adresse précieuse qui mérite amplement la note de 10.

Spacious, clean, well equipped apartment with splendid sea views (across the road), terrace, friendly welcome with free bottle of wine and bunch of bananas on entry, walking distance to town centre with several restaurants to choose from. Has a special character, having been where the owners previously lived (interesting decoration, attention to detail, extensive library). Good air conditioning in the bedroom/lounge/2-bathroom area. Excellent tour visit to the crater area of the new Volcano Tajogaite.

Musty smell on arrival (emanating from the closed apartment below) was dispersed by opening all the windows. The apartment is accessed via a back door reached after climbing over 50 steps, which is hard work with luggage. We had difficulty finding a parking space during the early evening on weekdays: no problem at the weekend. If you can´t find a parking space try the C/ La Encarnación on the higher ground behind the apartment (accessed by the same flight of steps: this worked well for us). Some daytime traffic noise.

Beautiful apartment with nice views over small park to sea and distant islands. Quality fitting and spotlessly clean. Effective air con in bedroom area and lots of doors and windows to open elsewhere to keep it comfortable even in sunny weather. Parking easy on road outside.

Quite a few steps up to take luggage to but didn’t detract from stay as the elevation gives the lovely views and keeps the noise from road to a minimum.
