Good location 10 min walk to old town, good supermarket & bakery close by. Comfortable and well equipped apartment with helpful host.

Our host, Ramon, made everything possible for us the enjoyvthe stay! He greeted us and very importantly arranged our parking. The apartment is located in walking distance from the Cathedral, is comfortable and very quiet (great noise-isolating windows). Truly a home-away-from-home!

We were very happy with our choice and have nothing to mention about.

Everything - the location is amazing, the beds comfortable and has all the facilities we need: having 2 bathrooms is very useful, and for the Brits, the kettle and toaster are great. Ramon is very helpful. Would recommend - in fact this is the second time we’ve stayed here and there is more cooking equipment than last time so cooking meals is now straightforward.

Nothing to do with the property or owner as such but the neighbours can be noisy at night. Noise cancelling headphones are very useful!

The apartment was impeccably clean and had lovely touches making it feel homely and welcoming, including real plants and nice pictures as well as some guide books and leaflets for local walks. The location is excellent, being close to the old town as well as shops and supermarkets in the newer part of town, and only about eight minutes from the railway station. The bus stop to return to the airport is about three minutes walk (maximums) from the apartment (and the bus costs only €1 !). The beds were comfortable, and it was great to have two bathrooms (excellent showers), with towels provided. The apartment was an ideal size for us (a couple) with plenty of wardrobe space in the twin room - more limited storage in the double room. Other reviews are right about the sofa being a bit hard, but it was fine for sitting in the evenings. We stayed during a cold and wet period so the really efficient central heating was appreciated. Shower gel, soap and toilet paper plus kitchen paper and bin bags were all provided, as well as washing up liquid, scourers and tea towels and even laundry tabs for the washing machine. The windows are very effective at cutting out street noise, so no problems sleeping. There is a kettle and toaster as well as a coffee machine, a big fridge and decent oven and hob. The kitchen knives were excellent (unusual in holiday properties). Ramon gave us a very warm welcome when we arrived.

A minor point, but the cookware was limited - a wooden spoon and tins to use in the oven would be useful additions. Saucepans were basic - OK when cooking for 2 people but may not be big enough if catering for more. The double room faces into the inner courtyard so has opaque windows (not a problem as we knew that from previous reviews) but no blind so the room can light up at night if neighbours switch on lights - again a minor point. It was exceptionally wet weather during our stay and the rain did leak through into the inner courtyard so some dripping sounds could be heard, but the weather was truly awful so I assume it’s not normally an issue.

Easy walking distance to cathedral, restaurants and supermarket and mercado la galiciana.

Very noisy late at night into early morning by other residents. Needs a blind in second bedroom as neighbours light shines straight in. And lounge quite uncomfortable.

The location is great and the apartment is perfect for 4 people with everything you need..

S.all but homely and close ti everything without being busy and noisy And there was a Kettle . The host was very helpful, tho funny using his google translator!
