Barcelona Touch Apartments - Rosich

Barcelona is a massive city so this apartment is about 30 minutes on a metro to get to most tourist places. The neighbourhood itself is nice, quiet and like most suburbs in most big cities. The apartment was very well equipped and the hosts were eager to please at every juncture. I liked the rooftop swimming pool and it was a nice way to wake myself up every morning in the cold water but it isn't really a pool you could do laps in as it's very small, so if you are looking specifically for a pool for swimming, this isn't going to tick the box properly.

I realise that by being in Barcelona, I was adding to their overtourism problem but having said that, all the things I didn't like, were because of it. The accommodation is very expensive considering how far out of the main city it is, even though it is very nice. I don't think that's the host's problem though. However, most other cities in Spain's mainland would be better value. Another curious thing is the climate controls in the apartments. According to the hosts, they have to keep the temperature at a particular value. It was much too hot for us and there was no real way to change it.

Excellent value for the price. Apartmant is nice, spacious and tidy. The location is superb. Direct metro line to the airport and city center. Which gave is a ultimate flexibility to fully utilize our last day as well.

We haven't found anything we didn't like . Ok, maybe the beds were soft for my taste, but that is really a personal preference.

Our stay was excellent, and the host was incredibly accommodating, responding promptly to all our requests. They even arranged an early check-in for us, which we truly appreciated. If we return to Barcelona, we will definitely choose this place again! Marta, thank you for everything!
