Stunning cottage Grade 2 listed with parking and Hot Tub

brilliant stay and would love to come back again.

Everything the home is done beautifully and the location was perfect for us

This lovely little cottage is part of a bigger property just outside of Bowness centre. It is the perfect size for two adults of a family of four. It has a well appointed kitchen and the cottage had been decorated well so felt cosy but modern too. We booked a night outside of half term in the area so the price was very reasonable.

We would love to come back with our children but the price increase at any other time means we wouldn’t be able to. We booked a night for £130 but at other times sux as Easter or summer it is nearly £500 a night.

This is quite literally the loveliest place I’ve ever stayed for a trip away. Everything was immaculately clean, the facilities were even better than described. We had brought food so we could cook at the property and couldn’t believe the equipment we found in the kitchen. Not only is there a hob, fridge and oven, there were also lots of little other bits of kitchen equipment such as a cheese grater, a chopping board, kitchen roll, a whisk etc. that I didn’t think to bring from home but needed for my recipe. These were such lovely touches. As were the snacks and treats left on the kitchen bench for when we entered the house. The host has gone above and beyond and ensured this was a truly comfortable stay. Normally when I’m away, I think about all of the things I should have brought but I never got that feeling here because everything was already there. Finding the cottage was easy, self check-in was effortless, no problems there. I didn’t need to communicate much with the host but when I did, replies were quick and informative. The living room was so cosy, with a little electric fire that was really warm when turned on. There’s two TVs - one in the outdoor area and one in the living room. Again, the host has thought of all of the little details that make a stay truly comfortable. There were books and magazines to read and there was even a Scrabble board game which on a rainy evening, we spent hours playing. The bed was so so comfortable! I was in it for way too many hours the first night. Lots of storage available in bedroom and kitchen for all of your luggage. Bathroom was beautiful too, gorgeous bath (didn’t end up using it though) and a lovely hot shower that had lots of space. Again, good facilities & lots of thoughtfulness from the host - enough towels left to account for the hot tub too. Plenty of space to park your car outside the property, no issues there. Where to begin with the hot tub!!

The only thing I can suggest is a larger tv in lounge

Beautiful location and a lovely, well-equipped house. The setting is very peaceful and private you really feel like you’re in your own space despite other cottages nearby. The hot tub and terrace were a highlight and perfect for relaxing. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend.
