Stunning cottage Grade 2 listed with parking and Hot Tub

Booked for my partners birthday and was thoroughly disappointed. The photos of the accommodation are far from what we experienced. At a 5* rating and £300 a night, I was not expecting dirty tableware, a damaged shower door that didn't close fully, faulty electrics or flies trapped within every bathroom light fixture.

I loved the inside, it’s a very old style cosy cottage but the blue colours made it feel more modern and welcoming. The whole cottage was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Lots of cupboard space for clothes and other items. The bathroom was very big and had two shower modes which I liked, the only thing was the shower door doesn’t close so water was leaking out. The kitchen has 2 ovens and a fridge which was perfect for cooking our breakfast in the mornings. Lastly, the hot tub was amazing and it really helped us relax especially after a long drive there. The location was great as-well! 10 minutes from the lake which made it easy when walking somewhere for dinner.

I did not like how the outside lights and hot tub shut off at 11. We booked a stay expecting to use the outside area and hot tub as freely as we wanted. It was quite disappointing as both nights we wanted to stay longer in the hot tub. We booked this stay mainly because of the hot tub and we really wanted to relax and not have to worry about the hot tub or lights shutting off. It would be nicer if the lights were kept on as-well as we stayed outside past 11 but we had no lights in the garden to be able to see properly.

Beautiful property in a stunning location. Hot tub was private and and the perfect spot to chill out.

An earlier check in would have been better.

The Cottage was beautiful, me & my girlfirend got engaged in the grounds. It ws the perfect setting.

The only downside is the hot tub going off at 11pm each night.

Perfect for a couple and our family dog, peaceful, tranquil and gorgeous property close by to Windermere

Great location, hot tub was amazing, apartment was really clean, had everything you needed provided, great bathroom, bottle of Prosecco and petals were so kind and such a great touch. We were kept up to date with anything we needed to know. We will be booking again could not fault a thing we loved it!!
