Il Corso

I spend four nights in Il Corso while visiting the southern part of Puglia. The B&B is really nice, it's only a couple of years old so everything is really nice. The two hosts are really helpful and charming. They always have time for a chat and can suggest ideas for what to see and do. The B&B is located really central in the town, and very close to the sea on both sides of the town. Out of season the town is quiet, so it's perfect to go there for a relaxing period.

it was a last minute decision to leave Lecce for a few days for an "ocean fix" and recharge myself for the remainder of my time in Italy. How fortunate I was to hear back from Sylvia she had a sea view room available......being Pasque weekend I was unsure I would find anything. Everything from the moment I arrived and was met by Sai (whose smile radiates even on a cloudy morning) has been perfecto. So much thought and attention to detail went into rehabbing this small bed and breakfast. Although listed as sea view I was so surprised I also had a large private terrace from my room. Sylvia was also able to provide a bike for only 4e a day......this town is a wonderful place to ride to outlaying beaches and towns. I still have two nights to enjoy my stay here and will definitely return if back in porto cesareo.

In our opinion you practicly have to have a heart of stone not to be touched by the charm of Sylvia and Saai (I hope I've spelled your name correctly Saai).   Both young women gave us, with their warm enthousiasm, every morning a bright start of the day.  We stayed in one of the two rooms with the balcony. Our room was very spacious and spotless clean. The balcony is surely big enough to sit and watch people going by or even to have an aperitivo or a selfmade lunch.  Highly recommendable!

This B&B in a very good place to stay. The owner, Sylvia, and Sai the always smiling assistant are most friendly and know how to share their hospitality. The rooms are very clean and tidy, the lunchroom is cosy. The breakfast is absolutely great and tasty, with a friendly word and a smile served. For me an absolute suggestion for everybody who wants to discover the lovely area of Puglia.

Great owner we met, Silvia, and the personnel - ready at the time when we said we would arrive, giving us a better room than booked.. Modern, chic, furniture.. Breakfast over the top and over what we could have extpected. Had to leave after one night, but would have stayed longer because of the great atmosphere of the hotel.

The Il Corso Bed & Breakfast is very centrally located, provides all comforts (fantastic bedding, modern bathrooms, effective A/C system, safe, minibar, wi-fi and you name it!) and offers an impeccable service. The owners professionalism is evident starting from the first mail exchanges: timely, precise and comprehensive answers. But it is especially when you step in that you realize the level of thought and attention to details that must have been dedicated into the design and the running of the place. Well done Silvia and Giovanni! Sai and Ilaria welcome you every morning with a large smile. The breakfast is just fantastic and satisfy all tastes: from the crunchy italian pastries to exquisite ham and cheese, fresh fruits (including prickly pear!!!!), yogurth and delicious coffee. To summarize ... if you are looking for an accommodation in Porto Cesareo , don't look further!

We made a little circle around Puglia in early September and this hotel was definitely the most favorite spot of our holiday. The B&B is beautiful and well kept with lots of attention to detail, the staff is extremely nice and helpful and the location is perfect. The best part was the breakfast with plenty of delicious home made cakes, a wide selection of fresh fruits, some ham and cheese and excellent coffee. The only problem we encountered is that it is really difficult to park in Porto Cesareo. The B&B is on a pedestrian street and if you come late in the evening, as we did, the parking can get really tough. I consider this a minor thing though and would book Il Corso without hesitation again.

Il Corso is a really well run suite of upmarket appartements. The owners have put a lot of thought into the layout and design of the rooms,which are very spacious and comfortable,large bed ,air conditioner , fridge,could not ask for more. Breakfast was very nice ,a buffet with a choice of cold meats and cheese, fruit and yogurts , cereals, and locally made bread and cakes. Sai looks after the breakfast ,always smiling and together with the owners ,couldn't be more helpful. Situated right in the middle of this small fishing town ,it is a perfect getaway spot for a bit of R& R, for anybody who loves authentic Italian food and the simple things in life. I would not hesitate to recommend it and we will be back again.

Large, comfortable room, great shower, safe, great location, excellent breakfast, frees wifi, + super helpful staff. Sai at the concierge desk was excellent in her duties and in assisting us and making recommendations to enhance our visit. We will definitely be back!

Perfectly looking with charming staff. Made our stay so good and fun.The location was very nice with many restaurants in the neighbourhood and à beach around "the corner".The breakfast was good with fantastic italian coffe.Fia
