Great holiday park, with fantastic club house. Close to beach, and short bus ride into Skegness. Owners very responsive, and answered all questions.

Caravan a bit dated, but comfortable and had everything you need for a self catered holiday.

"Family Holiday"

7.0

So here's the positives. It's in a perfect position and only a short walk to shops and bars. The size was good for a family and the shower was one of the best we've had in a caravan. I took my sons who are big lads so plenty of room to move. Car parking outside the caravan. Another positive. Tony was very quick in replying to emails so communication was excellent. The price for half term was a good price. I would say we got what we payed for.

Now for the negatives.I didn't know we had hired a pet friendly caravan. I took my 3 year old and his hands were covered in dog hair everytime he touched the sofas. It was pretty obvious whoever had been in before had let dogs sit on the sofas. We had to do a good hoover which got rid of most of it. Also the shower room smelled quite doggy. I wondered if they maybe left the dog shut in there. We did have a problem with the heating. The thermostat on the wall wasn't working. Heating came on at random times. Which was good at times as it was a cold week. We just turned it off at the boiler when we went out to save gas. Extracter fan on the oven didn't work or the ignite button on the cooker. There is a gas lighter though. We didn't cook in the caravan. We ate out. Mattresses were really uncomfortable. Definately could do with replacing. Probably ideal for very young small children. Not great for adults. We did think the caravan would benefit from a deep clean. Ceilings were covered in cobwebs. We had to wash pots and wipe cupboards out when we arrived - probably the fault of the last people that rented it. Outside were 3 very tired chairs and a table. Luckily we didn't have the weather to sit out. We did watch TV at night a couple of times but the TV makes a strange humming noise. The toilet room was very small and the radiator was shedding paint. I did have a problem with my phone and had to leave it at home for repair but I would 100% say the owner would have sorted the heating if I'd got his number to ring. He seemed a genuine guy.

"over all a very enjoyable stay and would recommend to anyone."

Nice and roomy, shower and bathroom facility’s good, the kitchen has plenty of cupboard space. double room good, again plenty of storage space. very nice caravan site that is situated close to main amenities.

only grumble would be the single room beds are very narrow so if adults were to sleep in them it would be tight. Our 8 year old fell out at night.
