"A real experience!"

Very special accommodation, a real experience to sleep in an old mill! The mill is in a rural area with wonderful views. in the vicinity are lovely towns like Mafra and Ericeira (a real surf spot/scene). The owners are really nice and helpful!

"Extremely welcoming and unique. We loved it!"

The warm friendly welcome helped us settle after a long trip. Plus the fresh bread/ cheese and wine meant we could eat and just relax that day. The windmill was well equipped with everything we needed and more. It was extremely clean.

The host and property was 10/10. The host was very passionate and helped out whenever in need. The property had everything you needed. The scenery was amazing. It was a beautiful experience.

We didn't have a car, and struggled to get taxi's. There are no supermarkets, or shops nearby so you need to stock up before you go, if you don't have a car.

A lovely countryside location and the mill is full of original character. The hosts were super friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend!

Fantastic location, fantastic owners, fantastic building. A bit challenging with small kids though, but that was our own choice. Really nice experience.

For kids and longer stays it might be a bit to narrow/small. But that is what we signed up for.

"Wonderful!"

Our hosts, Otilia & Mario were waiting to welcome us when we arrived. They are a lovely couple, and they go the extra mile to make sure you are happy. The windmill is beautiful, and we were amazed at all the extra touches provided to make our stay extra special. We were over for our youngest son's wedding to a lovely Portugese lady, Vera. They have made Portugal their home, so we will be back soon. Thank you so much!

It fulfilled all our expectations! Otília and Mario were wonderful hosts and welcomed us with some local goodies, an handwritten note and something to take home. The site is as depicted in the photos and we had everything we needed for our couple's retreat. Watching the sunset from the garden on our last evening, was the perfect ending to a great weekend. Couldn't recommend this place more!
