Beach hideaway apartment with modernist design

Bed against the wall, towels were small and thin, no beach towels, no larger (salad) bowls, all meant the description rather outweighed the reality. We live modestly but reasonably well. When you pay more then you expect a decent standard in return.

The view of the beach and sea is lovely and the car parking very easy. The apartment provides almost everything you could need. A nice touch was water and apple juice provided, and beach towels. Picking up the key from the office went smoothly and instructions were clear. Balcony gets the sun most of the day. Though other flats are occupied it’s quiet between 10 pm and 8 am. The apartment itself is striking in its modern design.

The main issue is that tiny ants come in through small holes in the kitchen. They don’t bite, but we did have to spray daily and keep food in plastic bags to keep the numbers down. I’d have preferred a table to eat at on the balcony - there is currently a sofa and low table.
