This is a really lovely holiday apartment. Great views from the really long balcony and lounge and bedroom. It's a really large, spacious apartment, especially for 2 people. The furniture is all comfy and the kitchen is well equipped for simple meals. The area is fab, lots of walking and sight seeing. You get a guest card which gives free bus travel and there are regular buses going to Konigssee lake and to Berchtesgaden just a few minutes walk from the flat. There is a good grocery store about 10-15mins walk away and a nice selection of cafes/bars and restaurants. The owner lives downstairs but you feel nicely separate from them. The owner is really lovely and helpful. They don't speak much English but we communicated fine with help Google Translate. Because we were transferring money from a UK bank there was a very slight issue that the owners bank charged a 10euro fee in addition to what we'd already paid to our bank and so we had to cover this for the deposit and then balance. The apartment is so lovely we didn't mind doing that but it's worth being aware this may happen if you're transferring money from the UK. We had a wonderful holiday and wish we were still there!
