Appartamenti La Stella

It's a typical sicilian appartment, very cosy and is located 5 mins on foot from the city centre and 10 mins from port. Appartment has everything you need: plates, cutlery, pots, coffee machines ( typical italian caffetiera and electric coffee maker). Shower is small and shower gel and shampoo were provided, which was really very helpful.All in all, good value for the money.

I arrived by train. The station is a bit distant from city centre. There is no transport you can take, apart from some taxi drivers waiting for people who do not know where to go. However, they try to take advantage of these people by asking 15-20 € for 2-3 kilometers ride. There is no Uber or Bolt operating in Sicily. One could walk from there though there is no dedicated pavement and this makes walking on the road dangerous.

Very comfortable and clean, we were late to check in but owners did everything so we can check in stress free and provided water and coffee aswell

The apartment is small but clean, at the ground floor facing a quiet street. Good location, not far away from the center. It is possible to park in front of the apartment (free parking). The kitchen is well furnished. We didn’t meet the owner but she was available for any questions and she gave us instructions for self check in.

Indeed the property is too little for 3 people and with only one door/window to get fresh air at night. Internet connection was not very good. There was big leakage on the wall and we noticed some black spots (maybe mold) on the ceiling of the bathroom.
