Beech Apartment

This place really felt like a home from home. The apartment had everything you need, with a well equipped kitchen and two bathrooms. The location was ideal with a very short walk into the centre with lots of lovely restaurants. Check in and out was easy and simple with no key to be picked up/returned meaning we could come and go as we pleased. We loved staying here and will definitely be back if we return to Bowness

Location. Clean. Comfy mattresses. Master bedroom. Garden facility. Well equipped kitchen.

A musty smell throughout when we arrived. Lack of a fully sized basin in bunk room. Lack of mirror in bunk room. Bunk room had adult sized beds, but the room was very small for two adults!

Lovely garden and views. Well equipped and comfortable. Prompt reply from host to our query.

As pensioners, we found the location was a bit of a hike uphill which we hadn't realised was the case, having never visited Bowness before. The apartment was 1st floor, which we knew, but was a bit much after the uphill walk. Fire doors are a good idea and necessary but very heavy to open. We felt the apartment is more suited to younger and fitter ppl.

The location was superb and the apartment was cosy and spotlessly clean with an added bonus of a toilet in each room our whole experience was wonderful

Beautiful ,large and comfortable unit. Lovely views to distant hills, and into beautiful copper beech tree from the bedroom. Great heating, opening windows, and a fan provided, so able to keep ourselves very comfortable . Bunk mattress very comfortable for an adult. Step walk up the road to unit - but is opposite a gentle laneway to walk along to the village centre. Easy walk up the hill to part of a main walkway - we walked through the farm for some gorgeous views over the lake. Loved sitting out on the comfortable garden furniture in the beautiful garden full of flowers.

Very nice, comfortable property - beautifully nested in the heart of Bo'ness. Very good facilities, appeared to have been newly decorated - beds were excellent and fixtures / fitting were to a very high standard. I would highly recommend this property.

Due to travelling, we missed the directions sent by the owner at 10:05 on the morning of arrival, which resulted in 45 minutes of searching for the property. There are a lot of properties in this area, which I appreciate made finding the right one difficult - but the property only has "Beech Apartment" on the sign inside, not visible from the road - which made finding the location difficult. We managed to find a reception - then contacted the owner and it was easily resolved. This in no way detracted from a fantastic stay, but a little better signage / directions shared earlier would have avoided this.
