Urbanización Playa Chica

A nicely renovated apartment with a sea view. The equipment includes everything necessary, except perhaps a washing machine, which would be useful for longer stays. The key handover and communication with the hosts were completely smooth. We really enjoyed Playa Chica and would love to come back again.

Die Lage ist einmalig. Auto aber sehr empfehlenswert. Die Wohnung ist modern und gut ausgestattet, wir kommen wieder. Schlüsselübergabe per Schlüsseltresor problemlos.

Der Zugangschip zum Parkdeck hat ein paar Mal nicht funktioniert, das Problem wurde aber jedes Mal schnell vom Vermieter gelöst.

The view is great, the apartment has a small kitchen with everything u need, except oven and microwave. The bedroom was good, comfortable bed, nice balcony with hangings. Also the host left beach towels which we used all the time. Self-checking option is very comfy as we're arrived late. The beach and territory are great. Not our first time in this house. In general, we can recommend this appointment for young couples. Thank you for our stay 🙏

There were small cockroaches in the bathroom and the apartment is kinda smelly in the woredrobe, a lot of host's stuff in the drawers like smn is living there. Also the host insisted that we share our passports photos, and sign some agreement (no idea for what purposes), be ready for that.

The apartment was the right size for 2 people, the furnishings had a good atmosphere. There was everything for self-catering: refrigerator, stove .. (perhaps there could also be a microwave) It was fantastic that you only had to take the elevator down to the first floor, walk out the door and there was a private beach with sunbeds. The Teresitas beach was close, but we didn't go there, our own beach was so good.

The electric stove worked quite uncertainly. The WIFI was very weak! And there is no mobile coverage. The elevator in the house did not work one day. The main attractions on the island were quite far away, and there were not any shop, restaurant near here. -> A car is definitely needed for this accommodation

This house is one of the rare ones built directly on the beach. It offers a unique experience with the constant sound of ocean waves. Accessing the beach is as simple as taking the elevator down to the first floor. Beach chairs are provided, and the beach area offers various spots for sunbathing, relaxing under palm trees, or engaging in activities like squash, basketball, or football.

Prepare yourself for this location: a secluded apartment house that lacks nearby grocery stores or restaurants. The closest grocery shop is a 15-20 minute drive away on a narrow mountain road with numerous twists and turns. Consequently, it is necessary to purchase food in advance. The apartment's kitchen is notably small, equipped with only two burners and a half-sized fridge. The provided fryers are outdated, with peeling Teflon coating, and the iron bottom is so dirty that it stains clothing. During sunny weather, you can enjoy the beach, lounging on beach chairs or engaging in sports. However, in inclement weather, you'll be confined to a place that offers limited options, apart from listening to the sound of waves. Be prepared for this even during the night and consider bringing earplugs if you struggle to fall asleep. The most significant issue with this place is the pervasive presence of cockroaches. They are abundant on the beach and occasionally venture into the apartment. We had the "pleasure" of hosting one inside the apartment while two of its companions crawled on the wall of the balcony. Moreover, we discovered three cockroach traps and even someone's old sock inside the apartment, indicating that the problem is known but not mentioned in the property description. This omission is unfair to potential renters, as this issue could greatly spoil your vacation. Our communication with the owner was unsatisfactory. When we informed her about the insect problem and suggested some form of compensation, she dismissed our concerns by stating that seeing cockroaches at a seaside location is normal and recommended using a spray to kill any that enter the apartment. I strongly advise you to carefully reconsider before renting this apartment, as you may find yourself in a remote place infested with cockroaches.
