Quiet place to stay. Lovely hosts and friendly grandchildren, super sweet dog, loves cuddles.  You are staying downstairs in their house, the family upstairs..   Aircon is in the bedroom, a fan in lounge. Simple breakfast, jam, toast, bananas, egg, coffee /tea. Bathroom good size, hot water shower.  Small area out back with some chairs. Could be helpful including a kettle with coffee/tea etc..and maybe a small refrigerator. Nice to have a cuppa in room in the morning. Parking available.

I may have expected more than was offered as title says apartment. Place consists of a bedroom with bathroom and next door a lounge with seating and a TV.  Unfortunately no use of washing machine as stated. Internet could be better, quite slow.

The unit was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The bathroom is roomy and the shower has endless hot water with good pressure. The location is quiet and in a beautiful part of Colombo and there is easy access to restaurants and shops. It is easy to get in and out of the main city. There are also beauty wetlands within walking distance that offer a serene break from the hustle of Colombo. Our hosts were both very helpful, especially with arranging transport and allowing us to collect our luggage later before catching our plane. The breakfast was good and the view over the garden from the table is delightful.

Little bit low doorframe (One only) But with the time you get used to it

The host of this property makes sure our two nights stay before return as a quiet, happy ending. Dilkie alowed us to have a late check out, we do appreciated. 2 min walking distance to street with many restaurants, simple a cozy calm place in the capital city.

The house is close to several good restaurants, laundry and juice bar. The room has a well working fan and AC. It is connected to its own bathroom. The hosts are very friendly and well educated people. I had many good conversations with them and learned many important things about the country. I was able to relax, learn about the country and enjoy the benefits of living in a house in an urban environment. They provide such a nice environment that it felt like a relaxing stay with dear relatives.

Beautiful place. highly recommended for who those want to relax.
