Wonderful Apartment with Outstanding Views - Calella de Palfrugell

The property was basic and there was not adequate heating. The electricity kept tripping out when we were cooking and we had to switch everything else off.

The amount of steps to reach the apartment from the road are ridiculously excessive.

Great views.

Not only the apartment is tiny, but also the wardrobe and drawers are full of useless stuff (old toaster, tools...), so no room for storing our clothes and stuff. Very difficult access, loads of stairs to get to the apartment. Toilettes pipes smell very bad in the morning. Furniture and doors in bad shape with lose screws (some involving glass doors, so quite dangerous for kids)

The view is really impressive.

Sadly the managing company sell this apartment entirely on the view. And it’s an earner! - It’s the only time I’ve booked through Booking.com that AFTER Booking & paying, I’ve had messages from the property listing additional t’s & c’s adding up to a further €325 of potential ‘fines’ for a number of subjective topics. We left the place cleaner than we found it. It needs a total refurbishment. The view is great, but find yours somewhere else. See other reviews & management responses to get a feel for this place before booking.

Perfect place for a short stay with spectacular views. We had read previous comments about the steps but you don’t see this view without climbing a hill! East access to Calella de Palafrugell village centre and only 10 minutes walk from the botanical gardens. Good communication from the management with clear instructions. The apartment had all the essentials for basic self catering. Would definitely look to stay again.

The apartment was as expected but only minor criticism is a request for a bathroom sink plug and some small adjustments to the patio door to make it easier to open and close.

Great location, a little set back from town so quiet.

Access to the property is a little difficult. You have to park on road then carry your bags a fair way. If you are not fit and agile, this property is not for you. The walk into town is also very hilly.
