My stay at Paimentupa exceeded my expectations. The room at the granary was surprisingly spacious, and it was dark enough to have a good night's sleep during Finland's white nights. My hosts were very friendly and helpful. The home-baked Karelian pasties were the highlight of a rich and tasty breakfast. Paimentupa is located in the midst of idyllic countryside, just a stone's throw away from the cliffs of Koli National Park. The perfect place to stay if you want to visit Finland's most famous National landscape.

Location and atmosphere in Paimentupa is always excellent, this was already my second stay in there! Staff is superb! I had the privilege to stay in the same room as before so I knew what to expect, nice and cosy stay with needed amenities. It's always nice to see the horses on the field from your room window. Most likely will visit again some day!

Place was a nice countryside place. Patio sunny, evening sun. Apartment & sauna basic, no luxorious. Horses ❤. Friendly service. Ski tracks close.
