Everything! Location, peace and quiet, scenery, food...had a wonderful week....hosts Lyn and Robert couldn’t do enough for us, very friendly and welcoming... We liked it so much , we hope to book again for next year....this year in car, next year on motorbike on the way to the TT...great biking roads! can’t wait!

"Perfect place for our 2days away."

Breakfast was great. We did not preorder a packed lunch but host willingly provided this at reasonable cost. Room was comfortable and cosy. Mountain scenery surrounding property was lovely. Nice pub meal 10 mins drive.

My only tiny suggestion. ..... The information sheet provided by host with house rules and local information was in a bedside unit drawer and was only found at end of stay, possibly could have been out on display.

Breakfast was excellent. The warmth of welcome was excellent. The valley location is very scenic, and delightfully pastoral. Robert and Lyn are first class hosts.

The access to the farmyard parking is unusually tight, with an awkward farm gate. A writing table in the bedroom would be helpful. A stool and/or a chair in the bedroom would be helpful. We like to write notes, plan the day's programme, study maps, write letters/cards, often before breakfast.
