Bramble cottage at Waingrove Farm

The location slightly remote but if you have a car you can reach nearby shops in 5-7min. Perfect location to unwind yourself, very tranquil. Surrounded by beautiful fields, lovely garden, private lake for fishing, Horses and there is a friendly owl too. There is a small train station running steam engine trains just 7-10min walk from the property. Do check the days and timings as it is not open everyday. Inside the property that we booked had 3 bedrooms, all good size rooms. beds were very comfortable, very clean, tidy rooms with cupboards. Kitchen too had all we needed with a small dining table. One bathroom with bathtub, descent size and very clean with towels, soaps was provided. Remember to get a wire extension as only 1 plug point in each rooms if you need your mobile as well as laptop or other gadgets charging. There is no netflix but there are DVD for entertainment which was perfect for us. Throughout decor of the house gave a country feeling. We were welcomed by Pat and Cheryl had baked some awesome cakes and cookies for us. One of the best I ever tasted. The best part is the private lake, the orchards, it is so peaceful and you can spend all day there amidst the tranquil surroundings and beautiful scenery and kids would loved the place too. An excellent property!

Everything was perfect for us.

Our hosts were wonderful making us feel welcome and offering helpful tips for a most memorable experience in the Lincolnshire countryside. Baked goods were on the kitchen table to greet us and the knowledge that they were a phone call a way to be of assistance was so very comforting. The cottage was perfect for the four of us and the outdoor offerings marvelous. We will return as it’s the perfect location for day trips, coastal activities and of course if you enjoy fishing the lake is at your doorstep.

The accommodation was very clean and had everything that you would need.

The double bed was very uncomfortable and dipped in the middle.

The location was fabulous, everyone on the farm was friendly and accommodating. Delicious freshly baked treats awaited us upon our arrival and they certainly put a smile on our faces. We were able to stroke and feed 3 friendly horses and see the 2 beautiful owls on site. The cottage had everything we could need for a short stay and I would recommend anyone to stay here.

Nothing to dislike. The master bedroom mattress was a little soft for our liking but this is personal preference and certainly nothing to mark down for.

Location was perfect, was amazing on the farm being able to walk around was a bonus. Lovely welcome to the amazing Bramble cottage, our kids were overwhelmed and so were we, welcome cakes we absolutely delicious 😋.

Having to leave ….there was no negatives whatsoever.
