Room and en-suite a little “compact”.

Everything, the hosts were amazing and it felt like ‘home-from-home’.

The countryside surroundings and being able to experience being on a farm in such a rural setting was beautiful.

the room was dirty and not been cleaned for ages by the amount of dust and dirt in the room. The heating didn’t work so it was very cold, the host says there wasn’t a fault but on speaking to other guests their heating wasn’t on either ??. Didn’t shower as the glass was very dirty with soap scum and the door track was all brown and orange on the seals. Toilet had black water marks running down the back of it. The door didn’t lock from the outside so when we left the room it was open to anyone to come in. The bottom of the door had collected so much dust off the floor it had created its own draught excluder. Inside the window frame had black on the glass at the bottom where water had collected. No bedside lamp or small table or plug socket on one side of the bed so couldn’t read or charge phone. Books on the window cill had brown pages stuck together and mould growing on them, I could go on and on with faults, and the host had the cheek to ask us to take our shoes off to go upstairs. would definitely not stay here again, just glad it was one night!!

Lovely breakfast and liked the countryside location. Would visit again, and very pleasant friendly people.
